2018 unknown to us but I expect that the price does not change until the end of the year is boring we hear a lot of news but nothing happens

I also believe that such a sharp jump as in 2017 is not expected. Here, as they say, who had time - he ate!  ;D
It is possible that the price that is now, will be final. But that's my personal opinion. Time will tell.

it is not because of "news" whether bad or good. it is the downtrend which the news is intensifying but is not the cause of it. and it has to run its course before coming to an end.
give it time and wait until the bear market is over and price will start rising back up again.

Maybe I think for the Btc price in 2018 it will not be a high spike for now, because for the Btc price soaring will happen in 2020 where it happens at a time change, but that's just my prediction. Hopefully 2018 will see Btc price changes, and will not wait long until 2020.

I don't think the news are the reason for bitcoin's price decrease. It depends mainly on the global sentiment around the bitcoin. However, the news can only spread that sentiment across the globe acting as catalyst. Bitcoin's price movement is closely tied with the global regulations as well. If a country decides to ban bitcoin, you will see an adverse effect on the price and vice versa. The fact is, bitcoin's price depends on many factors which can't be accounted correctly. Also market manipulation by the whales is another reason for it. 

But every price decrease comes with an opportunity for the long term believers of bitcoin. I personally know few persons who buy bitcoin during each decrease and I am also one of them. I see it as an opportunity to make profits. So the second statement of yours is partially true. Definitely with positive news, market receives more purchase orders but the volume remains high even when the market slumps.

The entire thing is complicated and very diverse. It is impossible for a person to factor in every possibilities on which bitcoin's price is based on. That's what makes bitcoin a speculator's heaven. 

There is no need to speculate about the price of bitcoin.
The most important thing is that bitcoin doesn't die.

I think bitcoin is still too early to die. To my knowledge, bitcoin is an altcoin benchmark, so if bitcoin is destroyed then altcoin will also receive its effects.

2017 is Bitcoin's banner year and it happen before the end of the year, and I believe 2018 is salso going to be a banner year for Bitcoin, every year Bitcoin is getting stronger its community and price every year it surpasses the people's expectation.

I do not think if news are the main reason why bitcoin price are fallen, if there's an bad or good news about in bitcoin or crypto currency it doesn't mean it causes to affect the value. I believe this coming few months or before the end of the year it will rise again.

I don't see any reason why bitcoin will crash. It will rather rise up, bitcoin have been the leader of all altcoins for so long until now there is no better competitor that can overthrow it.

yes, I agree with you, but you should know, sometimes people utilize bad news for buying more bitcoins, because the impact of bad news is make bitcoin value down.

and when good news supports bitcoin value, then some people prefer not to buy bitcoin, and the holder will harvest big.

there is actually a lot of reasons to speculate about price of bitcoin! probably you don't see them because you don't own any and have no plans on buying. otherwise as a trader or even an investors people want to know when they can get the best offer, both when they buy (at the lowest possible) and when they sell (highest price possible) to make the most profit.

I hope this 2018 bitcoin will rise up and continue to spreading in people who wants to join this crypto currency trend. We shouldn't know what happened in the future but the important is bitcoin will never be fade and hoping it will be in highly recommended system in trading.

A lot of speculations about the price of bitcoin this year some people say bitcoi can’t survive and some people still believe on bitcoin. I know bitcoin is a great coin that can survive this challenges, so for me bitcoin will rise high again this year despite of so many negative news and fud news about bitcoin.

For me im stilling believing on bitcoin even the price will goes down because i know the price of bitcoin is normally goes down and goes up that is the role of bitcoin in this world and i know if the price of bitcoin goes down im sure bitcoin will survive because of people trust and using the bitcoin.

Hope the price of btc in december will hit 50k $ that would be great.

Though bad news are hurting crypto specially bitcoin,but i dont believe this is the reason why price drops because. Investors arent noob to believe instantaneous in every negative news issued by media or individuals

Its all about the worldwide damage ,like what Avikz says the bannings from every country is the big contributor of why prices falls

We all wonder where Bitcoin is going to be 1 year, 2 years, 5 years or even 10 years from now. It’s tough to predict, but everyone loves to do it. If more countries create regulations/laws for cryptocurrency, more bad news will be published. This means we may see Bitcoin crashing again.

Just like in the past years of bitcoin, its price will suffer dips or corrections, and recovers again. Many investors and crypto analysts have varied speculations like bitcoin can't repeat what it accomplished last year and that bitcoin growth this year will be mild and it may not reach another all-time high. Such prediction or speculation will remain to be seen and no one know what will really happen in the coming days.

Well, due to it's volatile nature, one thing is for sure. It will crash AND rise. What do you expect in a volatile market lol. And bitcoin's value is extremely volatile and can have sudden movements with a simple fud or a whale pump.

I dont know really yet what will happen to the price of bitcoin the market is so volatile right now we do not know to where it crash or rise in this year.My speculation is in the before year end bitcoin will rise and fully recovered to the market.

Judging by the fact that the markets always return to their particular points, one of the scenarios is that maybe not during this year, but of course sometime in the future BTC will hit again 20K.
In my opinion, if that happens, it is going to happen sometime before the end of this year.

Or, the other case that may occur is that BTC will slowly be un-valued while other coins more innovative will be going to have progress and increasement of value !

BTC will be $35 000 and above by end of 2018... well at least that's what I think.

I think the biggest problem has been the manipulated rush in December, which gave to many a wrong, very wrong, idea of the direction of the market. I'm not very bullish for this year, these first 6 months have been a disaster, maybe, I say maybe, if we're lucky we can see some good price at the end of the year.

These are reasonabkle and logical points nobody can turn down, but I guess its not that simpel, ther isnt't just these two types of transactions in bitcoin, the system is far more complicated. For example you forgot about daytraders and people using btc as valid payment method. Not speaking about the so called whales if they are trying to influence markets or not...

yes it is true that with a lot of negative news it affects bitcoin prices, with a lot of negative news bitcoin prices will go down because many are selling it for fear of getting bigger losses, but now negative news is starting to disappear I am sure by the end of 2018 bitcoin will return to its best price.

Everybody believe Bitcoin will rise at the end of this year as last year so that is way lot of people challenge to buying bitcoin now and then they will gain more profit for few months.

In the case of Bitcoin, its price and, as a consequence, the earnings of the investor is formed at the expense of the money that another investor has brought, followed by another and so on ... This will continue until the amount of money entering the market is less than volume coming out of it. Does not it look like ...?

I think that Bitcoin price is going to rise this year. Right now the whole market is panicking because whales are trying to lower the price in order to buy more bitcoins. Bitcoin has no reason to crash, more and more people are using cryptocurrencies because they are becoming afraid of what banks are doing and no wonder why. Don't expect Bitcoin to be increasing all the time - it just can't happen due to panic and lack of knowledge.

I've often seen lately that there is a queue in exchangers, and transactions are very slow! as I explained, this is due to the fact that now very actively buy bitcoin at such a low price! I observe how influential people are talking about the soon-growing bitcoin! I see how the capitalization of the crypto market grows and how many are ico!and this all says only one thing: soon will be the growth of bitcoin! and I'm sure that by the end of the year it will cost 25,000!

i think bitcoin will go to the mars end of this year. i read too much article about that and common thought in this direction.

Agreed,  and with what happened across Europe of the visa network temporary going down this gives people a reason to use cryptocurrencies which will push prices up

Whilst there are various ways to influence the price of the bitcoin, it takes a lot of power and force to do so. If you are trying to predict the current rise and price that it will reach in 2018, I believe it is highly unpredictable due to regulations incoming and other things.

You are far away from the real price and btc might be somewhere around 20k also by year end will be a good price as it will beat the last year price and move ahead. So overall the market needs the bull run first to begin and expected soon to start and rise ahead.

I agree, just look at the prices for some time that is perceived that the moment you have good news then the price increases and if we have bad news then the price falls. you said it all

this price is very high and impossible to reach this year

Mostly when this year entered the price of the bitcoin decreasing and I hope in the month of june and coming next months the price will increase. We noticed from january to May the price is decreasing so we need to increase the price again to june to december to recover bitcoin.

Yeah, definitely Bitcoin price will rise and there is no doubt in that. Last year same period Bitcoin was trending around $2k and suddenlt in December it rise with the highest price of $20k. Just like last year, this year also Bitcoin is trending around $7k to $8k and suddenly it will rise to $50k or $60k within this year end.

Bitcoin has been craching since the beginning of this year and many investors especially the newbies has been loosing money in this market.  I think bitcoin is going to rise close to the end of this year 2018 and I will advise the holders to keep holding as this is what happens last year.

Bitcoin will rise high again, just keep believing with this great coin and we will surely arrive in the right place. The price are quiet stable on the level of $7k I don't know if its a good sign or not but I'm confident in this technology. The will be back on $15k level this year, bitcoin needs more time for this.

there are many analysts who testify about the state of bitcoin when it comes down to its value but when I read their wonderful messages it has made a lot of investment boost because their predictions give real hope.

The price will be always depending on the demand and supply in the market but since there are more countries today that has been legalize on cryptocurrency then the demand will obviously increase even more as well as the price.

I don't believe analysts. The price of bitcoin is very dependent on the behavior of large owners. No one can know their strategy. In order to destroy small competitors, they can keep bitcoin prices at the bottom for a long time and earn money at the expense of sales volumes. When monopoly will be in their hands, the price can rise to any level. No analyst can predict this.

No one can give an accurate prediction of the bitcoin price because the price of bitcoin is influenced by many factors. Demand is just one of them. I think that the price of bitcoin will certainly grow but it will be at the end of this year. Maybe early next year. It all depends on what goal will be set by the main speculators in the cryptocurrency market. We can only observe the situation and go with the flow.

especially whales right? Which is the common reason nowadays why the price of bitcoin always swing back because of their huge contribution on the market.  That's why i believe also that no one can predict the movement or pattern of growth rate nowadays which is even experts can't predict the growth rate since big players always gaining quick profits in the market. So lets accept the fact that the growth rate of bitcoin is always depending on big players decision because they're the only one that can control the market nowadays.

For me, bitcoin price will surely rise before this year ends.Though btc is struggling at 7K$ to 8K$, I strongly believe that it will not be crashed. It will continue to rise soon as demands go higher. 

Absolutely bitcoin will still rise this year. Just like what happened from the past year, and all the data gathered bitcoin always rise  before the year end. History always repeats itself.

Predictions are almost following the uncertainty rules and this is due to the immediate change of the market factors which controls the price of Bitcoin with rapid actions.

The demand factor is the most important and major factor which controls the value of Bitcoin and only the demand factor can say the future value of Bitcoin. Another way is also present but this way is for the average improvement of Bitcoin by calculating its average factors.

Bitcoin will not crash since it has no yet crashed. The reduction in price from December until now, from 20k to 6.5k was a market correction.
