Chinese New Year in Hong Kong - holiday for many people for a few days or up to a week. Chinese New Year in Mainland China - holiday for many people (esp. factory workers) up to 2 weeks. The difficulty will increase by WAY more than 25% over two months. I'd say 100% is even highly optimistic. It will likely increase 150-200% during that 60 day period. A 200% increase in difficulty means the hashing power would triple and your earnings per day would be 1/3rd of what they would be in March. I'd be very upset. |
