What most people do is sign up to an exchange and sell it through there, you'll need a bank account obviously in order to do this, a lot of them seem to use the dollar though but from what I know you most banks will just automatically convert that into pounds if you're in the UK.

I haven't heard many bad things about Blockchain but another one people speak well of is Bitstamp oh and if you're not sure, learn how to use currency converters you can find on the internet and keep an eye on the price for awhile to find out where it stops rising and falling.

Do it over localbitcoins, moneygram, western union, cash deposit, anything that has a non- reversible method.

Sell it on the forums here, just use a trusted escrow. Probably not worth signing up to an exchange just to sell that amount.

Hmm, really?  You can buy 0.21 BTC on Bittylicious for £105.93 right now. No fees and a proven source.

if that's what you want to sell it for, that's what you'll get for it.

Err, OK I think.  Just wondering why as a buyer I would pay £180 when I can get the same thing (slightly more in fact as I couldn't be bothered to type in all 8 digits) from a proven source for roughly half that price?

If you are saying to the OP "keep it, it may be worth more in future" then yes I agree, that would be my advice too.  But if he actually wants to sell, then I think a realistic price will be required.

fair doos.
the % of coins I sell are shorted anyway so I don't look at the price I get, don't bother me - the way I see it, of what I sell short, it's coins i'd never have see anyway. but those I don't short, (had it been, in this case 0.2btc) may be worth £300 tomorrow.
Unless you are desperate to spend them, keep 'em

Who buys shit through ebay with bank transfers? If you're gonna sell it on ebay wait till next month when they start officially allowing coins to be sold on there.

Or more generally, don't trade bitcoin for something with chargeback :)
