advantages of merit system:
will make someone who will enter the world of crypto, will learn more and deepen the science of crypto world pengetmuuan. with the increasing knowledge of the world crypto will be able to make a better post with the reward as a mover to get more. depending on post quality.

deficiency:
the merit system does not work well with some individuals who have high-level accounts but do not care about other account posts, poorly run systems that create new accounts with good postings are not rewarded or promoted.

just suggestions, give a little space for newcomers, by giving suggestions or rewards as encouragement to make better posts. together we can advance the world of cryptocurrency. good advice from seniors will spur creativity in quality posts. ;)

This appears to be a misspelling of the Indonesian word for knowledge. If you can't even spell your native language words ( I made an assumption here ), then you really need to stay away from forums until you have improved your communication skills.

You need to stop visiting this forum by using a translator. If you were a genuine user who would come here to read the threads knowing that you cant understand english then you would not even dare to post in "Meta" with a half-English vomited out cumshot. Definitely you would have remained in your Local threads.

I gave my merit to those newbies who really are of quality. I know the feeling of having your first merit, it has a sensation of greatly appreciated in the community. I even check the merit sender’s post and merit them back to show my appreciation during my early days. Now, I am giving the favor to those newbies that I know will help them improve their stay here, I am sure many of us are willing to help genuine newbies. I don’t want to talk much about advices, all of the above replies will greatly help you, and always remember, we cannot please everybody, some will make you unwanted and some will help you improve, be yourself. True. Many of us spend our time in searching for good posters, even in lost boards, as Bitcoin Discussion, or Beginners and help. But, sadly, each day the task becomes more and more difficult.
Besides, the Meta board is starting to be full of this kind of "making better the merit system" threads, in which the authors are newbies without a clue of how the merit system works but, yet, they ask for changes in the entire system.

I don't know where are we going, but merit system has been for five months now and still, we have each day the same repeated threads regarding the system and how it must be changed according to newcomers. Meantime, finding good quality posters to reward is harder and harder.
What's going wrong?

I totally agree with you. (Nearly) every day I try to extend my sMerit network by explicitly looking for a decent post from a user who I have never awarded before. In order to do that, I hold my breath and take a plunge into the Bitcoin and Beginners sections preferentially for this course of action.

The first thing one encounters are mega-threads, which I’ve trained my mind to ignore and I only pay attention to reasonably small threads. There I scout and often start to get an irritating feeling as a result of wanting to merit but finding little to nothing worthy. Don’t think that I try that just over a 5 minute period: my scouting process often goes on for nearly an hour, after which I give-up and switch to watching some on my pending series to overcome my frustration.

It isn't as if I’ve got an extremely high standard, but I do need to see a bit of effort in the post more that the average “I agree”. After all, mine doesn’t fall off trees.

I’ve noticed my awarded merit today so far does not move my ratios any further away from my usual network. And then we wonder why this happens…

I would rather say -  disadvantages: there are a lot of users who start new threads, mostly merit system related, in the hope to get a merit, but this road is going only to trashing the forum up, cause of all of those threads almost the same context.

There are still many people who didn't understand the true purpose of this merit system. It does works well because you know, "only the great warriors will enter the gate not some villagers". I saw many people doing some data analyst and good contents about crypto, they're amazing, worthy ones, people who must enter the gate for promotion.

Good posting? You mean copying contents with others? lmao. I always check profiles of some people ranting about the disadvantages of merit system and their contents are very long but same to the others. Then divide the 1 merit for all thousand people who have the same content with you  8)

Merit System does have lots of advantages as it seen that this profile have a lot of concerns with some bitcoiners and miners who belongs here. And I can see that it has a lot of beneficial effect when it comes to having sort of incentive program inside the system and suppose to see who is most likely to engage in a facility to be the most outstanding personnel in the arena.

that is the reward if you got a quality post then people will reward you by giving a merit.

I also see the space you are saying be thankful because you can still rank up to jr member without the help of merit and you can still join a bounty campaign if there was no space from newcomers then from newbie to junior will still require a merit.
