Title: Did I get too angry? [Closed. Settled with seller.]

I had a rough time with an ebay seller and, well, I sent him this. Is this overemotional? Is it really bad? Should I have regrets?

nahh m8 you are a normal pissed off consumer who has a good reason to feel cheated. It if helped you to vent your emotions like that even a bit so be it. No regrets.

providing you have smile for your next customer, then it is all good.  However I cannot help but think that your video reminds me of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHmvkRoEowc (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHmvkRoEowc)  :O

Edit: ok joke was a bit too harsh...  I need to back off on the black humour.

He does have a point: You should have contacted him first and asked him what's up with the product and given him a chance to make good on it. You didn't. That means it's going to be much harder for anyone to trust YOU in future.

Feedback can be changed. As the offer stood, it wasn't fair. He lost all chances when he sent me the product in an unprotected paper bag. Do you know how upsetting that is? It's like being hit by a car then being expected to give the driver a chance. Such negligence doesn't deserve a grace period.

Now you've shown that YOU don't deserve a chance. Goodbye.

I never asked. I have been defrauded too many times. I am tired of being stolen from. All I want to do is control what I can and if that's preventing other people from suffering the same fate, so be it.

Atlas, you are too carefree, and don't properly check out peoples histories or give credit to people who have no reputation.  Even tho you have been fucked over, sometimes if you are not careful you open yourself to such attacks!

Maybe providing tools for people to better check other traders histories so they don't get scammed, is a better, more productive solution than getting hot headed.

Get scammed > work out what you missed > next time don't be as easy to scam.

Bitcoin community shouldn't be a community that cries and gets upset when they get scammed.  It should be a community that is extremely hard to scam as all the traders are very careful.

 ;)

I will admit that I am inexperienced, ignorant and expect too much from people at times. I also need to work on my temper but this was not an unethical action. I will take better precaution in the future but I will not let people hurt me like this.

Anyways, I'm done.
Ahaha! You bought a full-on domain name and everything! I usually don't like getting back at people, but devoting a whole website to this incident seems like a really fun way to do it! Way to go!

It's true in 10 years time, that video will probably be around someway or another and it will be enriching for you to watch it.
I would like to have a few videos of my own rants from a decade ago.

You are learning how to deal with people and will become better at it with time.
You might manage your temper in better ways, who knows.

Personally, impulsive reactions out of anger have not always been the best thing. But you always get the learning experience.
