I have posted my miner on CL in my local city of San Diego and there are a lot of people asking me to point the miner to their pool as proof that it hashes at the rate that i said it does. I always ask for a deposit of 0.01BTC for me to do that for 30 min. Every single person refuses. The funny thing is that they all ask to point it to the same Pool BTC Guild. Now my question is what can someone do if I end up pointing my miner to a different mining pool? Can they hijack the miner or do anything to it even though its password protected?
