I'm able to pull 1530mhs with the stock fans in an AC'ed room and using bathroom fan to suck the warm air away from the cards on an open rig, temps don't go over 72C with 20C ambient temperature, I have Asus 7990's, hope it helps.

Why do XFX go lower? The brands can only change cooling design right? Everything else stays as OEM (AMD) made it. XFX uses Elpidia memory generally.
