Title: A GIFT TO THE COMMUNITY

A GIFT TO THE COMMUNITY

After the claims have all been filed and dealt with we will be releasing the entire MyBitcoin processing engine into the public domain. Our only hope is that the community can improve and adapt the software to all sorts of new and interesting Bitcoin-related things.

I'm surprised you didn't somehow make this thread an ad for FlexCoin already  :D

Edit: So what is the most important Bitcoin fiasco at the moment, MyBitcoin, Bruce Wagner, CosbyCoin, SolidCoin, NameCoin, SomethingAwful, FreeMasons, I think we need to find focus lol

From a programmer/tinker'rs point of view, seeing what the structure that makes up mybitcoin should be interesting.

EDIT: Well ok, just interesting to me.

I just contacted CNN and they have attached Don Lemon to cover the story.

I am called a spammer by the guy that has a 2000x2000 banner in his signature file.  I love this forum.  Regardless I would like to see when/if he Open Sources it.   There are some aspects of it that were appealing and I wanted to see how he did it.

His banner is only 400x88, don't cast aspirations on the community.

Yeah, the community seems allergic to aspirations. We like aspersions though, cast some of those.

understood, but it isn't the same thing.. mybitcoin had shopping cart features, bitcoin redirection, etc etc... that needs a 10,000,000% security audit done to it... but it was a fairly complex system that I would love to see how it worked.

The joke was, for once, you weren't spamming FlexCoin as the alternate product or service you are currently shitting on lol.

Lets not have to pull out posts from you taking advantage of another issue in the Bitcoin world and telling us all how FlexCoin could have prevented such issues.  However, if you want to down talk another exchange like usual, I suggest at the least looking into this one https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=43908.0 and show how FlexCoin is heads and tails better.   By the way, this last paragraph, not sarcasm, I would honestly like to see that for the sake of good competition.

Trust me I think competition is good ,  in fact most likely when mybitcoin opens the code there will be 10,000 ewallets out there.  But I still want it released.  I believe that the more people are in the better for bitcoin overall.

The thing that interests me is how did he profit from in ongoing?  Like if he didn't steal them what was his model?  How did the shopping cart work?

I just want to see the code.

I'm not going bashing or spamming anymore.  There is enough crap like that going on without me adding to it..
