Title: cryptopia trading question
Post by: dutchlincoln on June 02, 2018, 05:10:03 PM
hello,

i've been putting my first babysteps on a big trading platform like utopia.

Now, i transferred some dust BTC in order to try and learn.
i see how i can make a buy and a sell order, and how this seems to work. Nice!

What i dont understand: i want to exchange one coin for another coin. how can i do this? Is it only with buy and sell orders?
When i transfer BTC to an exchange like litebit or coinbase, i can directly sell them and get money when confirmed. Does Cryptopia offer this also?

Anyone can explain a little, or know a link to an how-to ?

Thanks! ;)

For trading platforms you can only use the buy or sell option and withdraw after you have successfully bought your cryptocurrency.

cryptopia is not a bigly exchange, nor will it ever be. Software sucks and it is a hobby site (think Mt.Gox) that is only bigly because of the ICO craze! Would not recommend.

Hey man. If you want a good site that gives you a lot of trading options go to binance. PM me an email address and I'll send you over a referral code.
