Title: Question
Post by: andersbrainsick on June 03, 2018, 05:28:04 PM
Good day everyone!

Cryptocurrency is really new to me, I heard about it a lot to almost all of my friends and I became interested. I am here to learn and please bear with me and with my questions.

Where is the best way to start?
By what method can we tell or verify if the project is reliable and genuine?  :D
what are the best projects so far?

Honestly, I'm not mostly investing in new projects if they are not trusted members of this forum. So before you invest make sure those people or devs must be trusted here in the forum and I suggest to you if you willing to invest why not investing in top 10 altcoin in coinmarketcap.
As of now if you are looking for a good a project they should have a white paper and other proof that they are not a scammer.
but mostly there are many scammers in new projects so I suggest stay away from them.

As a newbie, the easiest way to get started in the crypto world is by avoiding things such as day trading and ICO investing (initially). First get acquainted with the fundamentals of btc and crypto--what it is, where to purchase it, how to store it, how transactions work, etc. Once those concepts are clear to you, then purchase some crypto and hold it for a bit or make SMALL transactions/trades with friends. You'll find that you might make mistakes, but at least they wont be catastrophic ones. There are thousands of BTC guides for beginners, start a google search! We have one on our blog, for example: http://bit.ly/Bitcoin101Guide

As far as analyzing ICO's and their potential check out this guide: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3752728.0

You can also visit a site like ICOBench, which provides ratings from experts on certain projects. Careful with putting all your trust on their opinions, however, since ultimately it's your time and money that is going into this. It is always recommended to do your own research on a project.

We also have a guide for ICO's on our blog if you'd like to check it out: http://bit.ly/ICOGuide

Hope this helps, good luck!
