Title: A doge P2Pool in india. Low latency. Post by: pteek on January 31, 2014, 05:56:41 AM Hello shibes!
I am hosting a P2Pool for us! pteek.dyndns.org:9555 Username: Your doge address Password: Anything Stats: http://pteek.dyndns.org:9555/static/ (http://pteek.dyndns.org:9555/static/) Hosted at home on a fiber connection, 4mbps symmetric. Uninterruptible power supply. MINE TO THE MOON! Title: Re: A doge P2Pool in india. Low latency. Post by: Benson Samuel on January 31, 2014, 05:58:21 AM Hello shibes! We will need at least 2Mh/s to get stable doges. I hope to break even at least. We needed this pool. Title: Re: A doge P2Pool in india. Low latency. Post by: techguy on January 31, 2014, 08:20:17 AM Nice.
When did you start this pool ? Is this India only pool ? I see 640 unique payout addresses, so can I assume - 640 worker threads ? Is there something wrong with the poolrate ? Pool rate - 1.60GH/s (31% DOA+orphan) Title: Re: A doge P2Pool in india. Low latency. Post by: pteek on January 31, 2014, 02:35:50 PM About 14 hours ago. Had two small down times, all stable now.
This is a P2Pool and that 1.6GH/s is the rate of THE dogecoin P2Pool. What I am running is a node of the P2Pool so that others can connect to it and mine. Mining alone on a P2Pnode is not worth it unless you have 2-3 Mh/s. The 30% stales are normal for P2Pools and every one loses this much shares and since the reward is calculated via PPLNS, only the relative stales count. I only got 1 GPU(myself) and 2 CPU miners till now. Two more might join tomorrow. P2Pool are latency sensitive and hence people in one continent can't effectively mine on other P2Pools. I wanted a change from centralized pools so I stared this pool. I will do my best to keep it up for anyone who want to mine. The pool is open for anyone. As long as you only get <= 30% stales, you will be fine. Edit: The 640 addresses the the top 640 workers of THE dogecoin P2Ppool. Soon addresses from this node will be there :) Title: Re: A doge P2Pool in india. Low latency. Post by: P1tBull on February 05, 2014, 09:21:03 PM Is this working?
