It would be better to know about the forum before publishing your announcement which may not attract the attention of community here. A brand new account can't be easly trusted as it has not much options with the start rank. Only newbie copper members are allowed for some more options so even you want to update the announcement about your most recent information, you will lack tools for the good presentation and communication.
Starting with this poor presentation, i think it would be a great idea that you hire for a ranked member to manage your channels here (find them in services board) or take enough time understand forum rules then after Up-ranking you can officially start.

Thanks for the advice. I'm in the process of changing the presentation since it doesn't allow many options yet as a new member. Keep an eye out - you'll see good things coming. :-)

Nice to know this is such a supportive group. Here's to hoping there are more "helpers" out there than "hinderers".

Ahh, the anonymity of the internet. :-)

Even so, updates would also be poorly presented that the issues with posting your information by a new BCT account would persevere until CryptoCoinKev rank up to Junior so he can add links and images to the announcement (findblocks.com is able to do so if he is a team member as i understood from his previous posts), or pay a little fee for a Copper Member then start a new thread (just put the link for the new thread in this one) Read about Copper Member account here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2385104

*My notes are just suggestions to help maintain the newborn project, i just try to help as i will add your thread to my watchlist.
Good luck  :)

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your help.

I am going to pay for the Copper membership so I can have a much more professional announcement. Actually taking a little time away from BCT helped me hire a great developer and allowed me to work on our website and whitepaper.

I really appreciate the advice you gave an am taking it to hear to make myself a better BCTer! :-)

waiting for the update ~~ beep boob beep boob

I took Coupable's advice and got a copper membership. After reading a lot of the other announcements I realized I announced WAY too fast. Sorry all! The good news is, we've finished the whitepaper, our development team is running final tests on the chain, and our website is about to be released.

I guess everyone was a newbie at one point, so I'm glad I'm learning now and getting it out of the way.

Should I stay up to wait for a launch and something that I can start mining before I head to sleep ??? Haven't seen the OP before it got deleted so I don't know what this is all about.

No need to stay up. It will be a couple of days still. The final blockchain testing is happening now. I'll start a new thread with all of the information. And that I'm copper, it won't look so stupid. :-)
