He was summoned in Mumbai to record his statement in the case. During their investigation, Pune police's cyber crime cell and a team of ED officials found that Raj Kundra and other film celebrities were involved in promoting a Bitcoin scheme floated by Amit Bhardwaj - owner of Gatbitcoin.com. Bhardwaj had duped thousands of investors under his scheme, a senior ED official said. He was arrested by Pune police a few months ago. Kundra's role in the scam, be it his involvement as an investor or any other role, will be determined after his statement is examined.
