Do you think that the upcoming Tezos launch will have any impact on the price of Ethereum and any ETH forks?

I don't think so. Nothing is going to have any impact on ethereum price anymore. It is too big to oppose for new coins in market. Tezos might be bit older but its going to be new player anyways.. So 0 chance.

Too late. Tezos was late for such sentences. So many other projects that did more and they are on the market now. Tezos think too long. I also think that no chance for it

In my opinion Ethereum can be considered almost self sufficient depending only on Bitcoin, so its structure in the market is not shaken by other rival or other genres. However, Tezos is a solid project, which for example can affect other currencies such as NEO, Waves, remembering that it is just an idea showing the size and power of the Ethereum.

Just like bitcoin Cash fork could not bring bitcoin price down in August last year I didn't think that Tezos louch is going to bring ethereum down.  Ethereum is very large that fork will be able to impact it pricing.  Even if it is going to have effect it is going to be in positive ways and not negative.

As of now, Tezos is nothing but vaporware, but if the team behind it can pull off what they promised then there's a high chance that in the long run Tezos can actually become a serious competitor, and competition is always welcomed in the market. But it's very unlikely that Tezos will have an impact the price of Ethereum right after the launch...it takes more than another altcoin in the market to tank the price of an altcoin, especially Ethereum.

There is no doubt a lot of people are waiting for the launch and if it get listed on big exchange it might still the show from alot competing projects for now until the hype dies down and they platform now goes to the wild  and suffer several attack and come out unscratch that is when people will start trusting it and buyin into the project

tezos is tezos and ethereum still their ethereum is different so even though tezos will be launched it will not affect the price of ethereum, for me tezos is the new name and newcomer in the market so like the other newcomers coins, tezos have to struggle themselves to gain the public trust to get prices are high

Tezos is so far from being lauched by the team and it doesn't give any impact to the ethereum. It is still having a lot of homework with regulators and i can say that those are investing in tezos are getting fucked. The resulf ot tron was even greater compared with tezos.

there is no connection at all between tezos and ethereum. the launching or success of tezos will have no impact on the price movement of the ethereum and also its growth.

I think it will not give impact to Ethereum prices
The fact prove that many projects are launching platforms for DApps and smart contract but I don't see the impact when they launch it even when BIG projects like EOS launch their mainnet, they can't give an impact on Ethereum prices.
They can give an impact if the team sells large amounts of ETH "from project funds" like EOS team rumors a few days ago

i don't think Tezos is going to do anything here. it is just another pointless new project that come and go every day. but these days as ethereum is getting dumped hard and as people lose more and more of their money the market is opening up for other projects that also happen to be a lot better than ethereum which is filled with issues.
for example you can see that EOS has been rising rapidly and taking the market by the storm a lot of money has been migrating from different altcoins into this coin.

Tezos will be a great competitor for ETH and EOS. Since coins will be unlocked, be ready for pump because lots of new investors don't have any chance to buy TZS coins now and they would want to add them to their portfolios.

Yes it will have direct impact on ETH price. Think of it this way if it's tradable with ETH, people will buy it and that would decrease ETH price. However, I don't think it would have any major impact in the long term.

Not a chance,  Ethereum is too dominant in the current market.  Pretty much every new project is on the eth Network.  Everything is traded in either eth or btc.

I dont think it will impact ethereum price. Because there are many issues on tezos project and the project starting losing the trust from investor. Ethereum gain more trust everyday. Even the dump happen it is not going under $400. I am affraid of eps then tezos. Eos which can disturb ethereum price but not with tezos.

Direct impact on ethereum price? I don't think if it have an affect but for me no matter what happen if the ethereum price are decrease, I still believe on what's her ability and I know soon it will increase again.

Well I really think we can all agree that ETH does not really need any support from other coins but Bitcoin and bitcoin is the only source why other coins value is kinda fluctuating right now and because it is a bearish market that will surely affect a lot in the market, But even if a lot of ERC20 tokens are kinda down right now ETH will keeps on continue on sprouting up if bitcoin will keep on moving forward.

That’s plus for ETH growth. But actually BTC s impact is more than new launch. So ETH keeps fall. Stay at price 600. We shall be happy ETH remains 600 but not below 350-400.

I believe the same thing. I don't understand why would any project for that matter will have a big impact positive or negative on a much older and already entrenched cryptocurrency like Ethereum. It is actually the other way around...Tezos can be affected by Ethereum or Bitcoin for that matter. Anyway, good luck to Tezos am hoping it can reach the potential that should have materialized a long time ago if not for the infighting that happened within the project. This was one of the ICOs which I invested on last year and which I have already forgotten to care.

Ethereum price is affected by more fundermental reason other than one single ICO on it's platform.  Good luck with  Tezos!

I invested in TEZOS on ico and I'm not going to sell their coins, the project is developing and growing its community, waiting for the start of the main project network

I also invested in ICO. He could not perform as well as he expected. I think it's not the price he deserved.

I believe that, the Etherium can be considered almost self-sufficient, depending only on Bitcoin. Nevertheless, Tezos is a very promising project that can affect other smart contracts.

Tezos launch can not affect even the Tezos price. It still continue falling, regardless tezos was listed on bitfinex today...

Although Tezos looks promising to buy now, but I am sure that this does not affect ethereum, this is because ethereum is the second largest coin so it is difficult to replace with another coin.

I do not think it will affect the value of ETH. Every altcoin has its own value. EOS was one of the most anticipated altcoins that might have faced ETH but now its value has gone down. I think there will be no struggle here. Only the whale's activity. ;D

No, there won't be any effect on the ETH price because of Tezos. ETH is affected because of Bitcoin and also its own investors. Bitcoin affect the price of all altcoins.

The only way they can affect on ETH is just sell all eth they collected, so I don't think they will affect eth for a long time.

Tezos is the best general use blockchain/smart contract platform and will likely remain so.

I'm not worried about #XTZ.  #Tezos is already new innovative tech with a bright future.  I worry about ERC20 projects that are either vaporware or a placeholder for some high tech coin that may never actually launch.
