Night Mode is a feature that can give the effect of darker appearance and background to black on the screen, thus making our eyes do not get tired easily when mengoprasikan a device. earlier in the bitcointalk forums do not have special features / menus of night mode, different things like twitter, youtube, etc., which already have night mode feature. But we can use it with extra extensions or apps in every web browser.

Here are the benefits of night mode both in terms of health and comfort when using:
 1. Give a more stable light.
 2. Light is better when used for reading.
 3. Reduces the incoming light radiation in the eye.
 4. Make someone more focused while reading.
 5. Improve Brain Function.

=>The first step
 1. click the settings in the crorme menu
 2. then click more tool
 3. then click extension
(Later automatically opens own new tab)

(Later automatically opens own new tab)

=>third step
 1. type "DARK MODE" then hit enter
 2. click add to chrome
 3. click Add entension
(wait a while until the download is complete)

=>Or directly download to skip the first and second steps with the links below. we just take the third step, in no.2 and 3

the fourth step
 1. Done, we simply activate with one click and disable it too, in the right corner.

Great, but I don't use Chrome and there looks to be no way to do it on Firefox.

This is actually one feature I wish bitcointalk had as an option.  I do use night mode on my phone, and it's so much better.  On a related note, Youtube seems like they took the night option away because I can't find it now.  They suck anyway, and BCT doesn't.  There's been talk for years of some new forum software here, but it never seems to materialize--I'd been hoping night mode would be part of that, but I'm not holding my breath.

Download Stylish for Firefox (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/stylish/) and add a custom theme for BitcoinTalk.

Just go to the forum, click on the icon next to the URL, Library and install one of the dark themes.

Yeph, Stylish works so well in chrome and I guess in firefox too. I've just found it out last night.

In chrome
Just like what OP said.
Go to More tools > Extensions then browse Chrome Web Store then search and download "Stylish" extension. All kind of themes for chrome is already there, dark mode of chrome or even dark mode of Bitcointalk.org.

After downloading Stylish. Click it's icon in the upper right corner of the chrome (Make sure you are browsing bitcointalk.org first) then there are different kind of themes you will see for the forum. Just install it then enable it. Then, you're now in dark mode. There are still some other themes, just pick whatever you want. Only one theme can be enabled at a time.

I'd like to show some screenshots but I'm using mobile phone right now. Just try to understand what I said  ;D

I use opera, and maybe if someone looking for opera addon, this is probably the best add on for change to Night mode, it has Hue rotation too. Night Mode Pro Opera (https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/night-mode-2/)
Image click here, since is too big (https://i.imgur.com/Rd5gpKV.png)

Great, but I don't use Chrome and there looks to be no way to do it on Firefox.
How about this one? Night Mode Pro Mozilla (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/night-mode-pro-w/?src=search), it same extension that i use in opera

On a related note, Youtube seems like they took the night option away because I can't find it now.

To be honest, we have to be careful with the kind of app we run/permit on our pc, to avoid being hacked.

I thought this is from BTT. I can not trust a third party extension for DARK MODE. It is too risky when I have META MASK as an extension alongside it.

That's nice! I use night mode in many pages and I will give this a try.

I prefer stylish because you can get a lot of themes and it is so easy to use.

If you want to try dark mode / night mode using your Android Phone install UC Browser.

The dark theme mode really helps to reduce the eye strain and I use it on my phone too but a point that concerns me is downloading any extensions would be safe just for reducing eye strain ( Not talking about the this one) because I have heard that some systems had been put to risk by downloading extensions! I'll definitely try this Night mode feature if it is safe because it might just help me not to strain my old eyes more xD.

Honestly I am not experiencing any eye strain when I am in the pages of Bitcointalk. The bluish tint to their site's design does help a lot compared to the pages of Facebook or Youtube. Also if you don't want some extensions on your desktop, try playing around with your computer's monitor sometimes they have some presets on different modes, one of them is a blue light filter mode which I am sure that all new pc monitors have. It will give a brownish hue to your monitor.

For mobile phone users sadly only a few phones have blue light filter modes and rarely some phone manufacturers have some sort of negative color modes which will turn whites into blacks and black text colors into whites, so far the only phone I know to do that are Iphone 8 and X models. You do always have the option to lower the brightness of your screens which thus help on reducing the strain in your eyes.

Yuph, there are only few mobile phone that has a system built-in blue light filter mode but there are several apps in playstore that can do the same thing. Like this one Blue Light Filter (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eyefilter.nightmode.bluelightfilter)

I think you're talking about "Invert Color". As far as I know only android lollipop and up version supports this in system built-in. But like blue light filter, this is absolutely download-able.
