Title: Other languages/locations section
Post by: mdayonliner on June 05, 2018, 11:12:58 PM
I wanted to create a topic in Other languages/locations (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=11.0) but seems like new topic (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=11.0) feature is not available there. First I thought I will need to have a decent rank but when I saw even a newbie created a topic then I realized that I am wrong. I am sure that something is missing. Do you have any idea about the reason?

Is there any possibility that the mods/admins disabled new topic creation? If yes then what could be the reason for that?

I want a topic in Klingon language! 8)
I see 13 pages of languages there, maybe all relevant langueges are covered and we don't have the need to add more.

Personally I can create new topic, also seems newbies can do the same, don't know what's wrong with you.

I am having a strange feeling LOL
What did I do to theymos(?)  :P
Please do not treat me with an exception, I am a regular user like everyone else in the forum. My intellectual level does not even closer to nullius (assuming s/he had vast knowledge)  :P
I am kidding, there must be something else going on

I think you need to be a Senior or above to create a thread in there now. It was implemented a few months ago or so due to all the bounty translation spammers posting their Announcement threads in there (which aren't allowed).

What thread did you want to start exactly?

I wanted to add a Bangla thread to help the Bengali speakers. This will help them to understand the forum. I will give my best to educate them about the cryptocurrency world.

There are few threads already I can see but non of the OP has any good information to provide except few lines of spammy topic.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=631891.0 ==> বাংলাদেশ (Bengali)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1979138.0 ==> বাংলা (bangla)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1344309.0  ==> BANGLA

My idea is to create a new topic with basic guideline and update the topic with URLs when new information will be added in the comment section. This way the community will have better understanding about cryptospace and of-course about the BitcoinTalk forum.

I do believe bunches of members who are not good at English language, still wondering about this whole new space.

I'm also from Bangladesh. It will be really good to see Bengali thread. Some people do have less understanding in English.
Sometimes I feel like I should create some posts in Bengali so that people can easily understand about this forum and also about the rules. But I can't because I'm not allowed to create new topic in other language.
Although I can post in the above url(thread) you mentioned but this will not make enough exposure.
 I'm totally agree with you. It will help to reduce the spam too.

I am Also Bangladeshi, Now tell me what kind of education do you want to give them? They know how to post in the forum, how to do bounty, how to do bounty by Multi-account. What do they want !! :o :o  Nothing will happen. ::) ::)

You see your post in this post >> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4117504.0, There Is at least three Bengali people on this post in the list of Shitposts. There is also a manager. Asma555.  Who will talk there? Nobody. There will be just cheating!!  ??? ??? ??? Introducing Each Other.
Those who are constantly taking money from others for Teaching How to earn money from bounty,,,  learning about Bounty. Actually, it will be a failed attempt.

Shitpost, abusing all these stuffs are part of the forum. We have to live with it. What important is you do your job while you are fighting against them. If you back off then how would you change the bad.

Hoping hilariousetc will see the answer.
