I think hardware wallets are the best wallet for storing crypto assets (Ledger Nano S or Trezor)
Ledger Nano S is a hardware wallet Bitcoin, Ethereum and Altcoin, based on powerful security features to store cryptocurrency assets and secure digital payments.

I use MEW for almost all of my ERC20 tokens.
I also stored some ETC and LTC in coinomi.
I sometimes store BTC in mycelium.
Rarely I leave my coins on exchanges like binance and hitbtc.

there are two wallets I ever known most, they are waves and MEW. however, I prefer My Ether Wallet because this wallet is mostly used in this forum. if we want to fill the form for registering in some projects, they provide eth address to receive the reward. however, for exchanging into currency in my country, I use bitcoin VIP. I also can trade here. the transaction so fast and cheap.

For me Hardware Wallet. These wallets are bits of hardware, external devices like USB sticks which you can carry around on your person. An added benefit of a hardware wallet is the complete anonymity with which you can transact. There is no personal information linked to the hardware, so no identifying data which could be leaked. Hardware wallets are resilient to malware, and if you happen to lose the wallet you'll be able to recover the funds using a seed phrase.

I mostly rely on exchange for smaller amounts while use dedicated desktop wallet and secured private keys for larger amount and currency that I intend to hold for longer time.
Myetherwallet is a quick and easy solution for Ethereum token while I use electrum for holding higher bitcoin balance.

There's so many different wallet that you can actually use but my favorite wallet for my ERC20 token is MyEthereWallet, you can use that for your altcoin , and for my bitcoin and ethereum i use the wallet called CoinsPh i like that wallet because is easy to use and you can use that to buy, for example bill and others stuff, by the way you can also use Hardware wallet like trezor and ledger to secure your funds.

I think the best secure and popular place to store your crypto tokens or coins online is https://myetherwallet.com. If you can keep your private key securely without compromise then use it. It stores ERC20 tokens from smart contracts.

I use MEW for ETH, Electrum and Blockchain for BTC. There are also other wallets like NEO, LTC, etc.

There are so much wallets. Usually wallets are two types. Online wallets and Offline wallets. For online wallet and ERC-20 coins MyEtherWallet is best. Its very simple and secure. But i always recommend to use hardware wallets. The two leading two companies in this regards are Ledger and Trezor. Try out Ledger nano s. Its very good.

I recommend you to use hardware wallet such as Ledger nano s since it's a multi purpose and secured wallet. It can also holds Erc-20 tokens which is vital for a holder without sacrificing your private key.

I think it depends on us who trusts any wallet. As an example if you want to save ERC20 can use MyEtherwallet and Imtoken. And if you want to trade there are some famous exchange like Bittrex, Etherdelta and Forkdelta

Metamask.

It is easy and fast, and I like the fact that it is a plugin. I like the interface. The only thing which is annoying, is it closes if you click out of it, (maybe at the settings you can modify that, I dont know).

MEW is usable aswell, but I dont like the interface of it. Also, it is prone to phishing, as happened lately.

Hardware wallet is the best wallet in Crypto platform but All other wallet also same secured wallet. So peoples are only trusted in costly wallet this is the bad rumours in others wallet. You should choose your convenient wallet then you should active two way security this is more than enough to protect the wallet. So I am not prefer any wallet.

I agree that hardware wallets are the best option if we want to keep assets, especially in the long term. maybe op can consider it, there are options like nano ledger, trezor and others.

Hardware wallet is best wallet for keeping safeguard our valuable coins from hackers and any kind of hacking attacks. I prefer to use Trazor hardware wallet because it is best wallet in my views to protect our coins from hackers.

Which wallet are you referring to? wallet to store erc20 tokens? or bitcoin, or other tokens ? If it's bitcoin then i use blockchain.info and if it is erc20 tokens then i use my ether wallet.

I prefer myetherwallet with the help of metamask extension for my browser and also exchange wallet for trading. because This Site provides wallet with Private Key and Token / JSON Token which we can use to open wallet. This site guarantees that the transaction process does not occur through their server, but occurs on our own computer / gadget because on the basis of MyEtherWallet is not a Web Wallet but more to Client-Side Interface.

wallet for what? wallet for erc20 tokens? wallet for bitcoin? wallet for NEM? what kind of wallet, there is lot of wallet that people are using. it depends on your capabilities and also the altcoin you are holding.

I think desktop or mobile wallets can be safer than HW wallets. At least when someone sees a computer he does not know there are bitcoins inside. Wallets like Electrum can be much safer... but it is not about wallet but about user.

If you mean a purse for storing tokens and ethereum, then, in my opinion, the purse MyEtherWallet is the best purse for this. It is quite simple and reliable, it has a secret private key that can be used in any device and even from another wallet. Very useful is also its function etherscan, which allows you to view the contents of the wallet without using its private key.
For bitcoin, I use the btcc wallets. one and wallet  blockchein. info.
I especially like the btcc. one

I prefer to use MEW for erc-20 tokens, because it is very useful, securely and easy to use. But you should count the transaction fee by yourself.

Ledger nano s.For my coins security I prefer hardware wallets. In it I can control many accounts for all cryptocurrencies. And all coins are secured with same backup key. Also it supports ERC tokens. The best advantage i got from it that i can use it on my Android device using OTG cable. It also supports Win, Mac, Linus.

Because it is the more secure the coins and the private keys and it is easy to use.

I prefer MEW since it's commonly accepted by every single ICO which support the ERC20 format. Being hacked does not mean that this wallet is not reliable anymore. It still one of the most known and used wallets in the industry  ;)

Filled out the survey! For long term storage i use trezor which is an hardware wallet. Actually quite impressed by it.
Other users who are saying that they use e-wallet or online wallet, do keep in mind that they are NOT safe at all. Your funds might get hacked or you might lose control of your wallet without any prior notice. So better stay away from online wallets. And never use an exchange for a long term storage.

Earlier I used myetherwallet with metamask extension. I have used it for a year and it is really good and support for many coins. But using online wallets is risky. Now i use a hardware wallet (nano ledger) and i think it is the best wallet.

I prefer using hardware wallets like trezor or nano ledger, even for bitcoin, ethereum wallet, litecoin. it is more safe to store tokens in that because you are the only one who has the access on your own wallet.

I used imToken and I am really enjoying it. I have never heard of people complaining of their imToken wallets been hacked. Although that could be because I'm still in the cryptocurrency market. But despite been new, I have heard series of MEW been hacked.

I use different free purses, but I know that they are not too secure. Soon I'll get myself a Ledger nano. This is a very popular and safe hardware wallet at an affordable price.

I use nano ledger for the majority of my coins, i put all my btc, eth and other erc20 token in it, probably the best thing for crypto as security is the most important thing here. For the coin that's not supported by nano ledger, i use the official wallet from the project itself. I used to store my coin on exchange but after reading news about hacking i immediately withdraw my coin.

I used MyEtherWallet to all my token and Ether. Also this wallet is power by blockchain technolgy and ERC20. Then, for my bitcoin I used coin.ph wallet and blockchain wallet. Also, Exodus wallet is good to and I also used it. For maximum securty I used hard drive wallet and ledger wallet.

It really depends on what tokens or coins you wanna hold or trade. But I prefer an all in one wallet like ethos, jaxx or the erc20 wallets. ofcourse the safety is always the basic then the portability.

Trezor prides itself as the most trusted hardware wallet in the world. The TREZOR One uses a 24 word recovery seed, while the Model T only needs a 12 word seed and is uniquely touch screen.

For bitcoin wallets I've used electrum and blockchain.info before but I mostly like electrum.
Now with a set of coins as multi wallet, I've been using Ledger nano s and coinomi. I rarely used coinomi, I just store some of my coins there.
Most of the eth and erc20 holders here prefer only MEW, well it's free so it's basically the number one choice.

It should not even be a question. Reason being that every online wallet can be easily hacked by phishing website or in some other way. The only way you can have a good night's sleep is if you keep your coins in  hardware wallets.

For long-term storage of cryptocurrency candied fruits I use only a paper wallet. This is the easiest and most secure wallet. Of course it's not very comfortable. So for daily use, I have an Exodus wallet.
