I think bitcoin has become more and more stable. ;D
Because compared with other altcoin, the volatility of bitcoin is not large, which I think is a good thing, then bitcoin will become a real currency.

The year 2018 started bad for bitcoin, and the volume of bitcoin decreased and the price dropped. he needs to catch up momentum as soon as possible. I think btc will catch 20,000 dollars towards the end of 2018.

Who knows, I believe that it can be both, the death of Bitcoin this year, and the great rise of it too, so we will just wait to see.

My biggest expectation for Bitcoin in 2018 was that its price could be stabilized. If Bitcoin cannot stabilize, then it will likely be replaced! It can still only be regarded as a traded commodity in the future!

I wish for bitcoin to growth in value, But we can really see the stability in it's price that never waver further below the $7000 USD mark value but never have reach the height of $8000 USD either and just stay swaying back to back that level, In my opinion the floor really is the $7000 mark value and just like what happen last year we can see that the month of November will be fruitful for everyone that has hodl their bitcoin.

This is what I think you will see in BTC
~$15k to $30k Thanksgiving spike, 2018
~$30k to $80k Thanksgiving Bull Run, 2019
~$50k to $250k Halving Bull Run, 2020
Some days I say $80k, other days I feel $250k, but...
2021 I suspect will actually be a very "trying" year. There are numerous things which I think will occur in 2021, which may harm Bitcoin, namely an 'overly optimistic' bull run - And other factors.
Crypto will ultra explode 2021, but say BTC gets to $100k in 2020. That's $1 Trillion per year spent on Hash Security, or $2.5 Billion daily needing to be funneled into Bitcoin to simply maintain, let alone grow.
This also means that minimum Satoshi cost for sending a BTC transaction over network (we will be pure 2nd layer by this point, obviously), would be $0.001 or $0.23 at 1 Sat / Byte, 225 Byte. If you speculate 10 Sat as 'standard', than $2.30 per BTC direct transfers, effectively preventing $5 transactions from using BTC direct.

Hot guys here telling that bitcoin should go up to the end of this year, but actually for now it just goes down and down

What i just expect is stabilize .
IF BTC stable , Altcoin will great too.

Bitcoin growth has been hampered because of several FUDs this year and the Mt Gox dumpings. It may not go back to the initial ATH of 20k USD as we saw in 2017 December but I expect a merciless bull run for btc come early 2019 as more parties and coming into the crypto market

I think after all the events, bitcoin will stay in place for a while, and then it will grow!

Bitcoin has been such a good investment thus far, and as such deserves some accolades. My greatest hope for Bitcoin in 2018 is that the price can be stable, can recover quickly when it falls, and some can control the market during chaos.

What to expect with Bitcoin?
Bitcoin will just come back to it's original price and appraisal without the "HYPE". We all must admit that Bitcoin reached it's ATH this past year because of all the "HYPE" the media, the investors and the "uninvestors" have caused. This year, those who are not really into the technology and does not understand how the blockchan works will simply take out their investments with gains or with losses. Because without hypocrisy, we must all admit, that a large portion of the population that invested in the past few years is there just for the "profit" bitcoin might give them. Bitcoin is a revolutionary technology that can be used as an alternative for the fiat currency and it shall slowly take it's rightful position as a currency and leave it's current position as an "investment". This way, Bitcoin will be back to it's rightful price and appraisal but SURELY will slowly rise proportionally to the growing numbers of people understanding the technology behind it.

I am expecting Bitcoin to reach a price of $10,000 this year. That is a very important position, only bitcoin to reach this price, many altcoin can return to their ico price. Otherwise, most people are losing money.

Well, honestly, TAU, ADA and POWR are some great investments because at least they are consistent and stable. As far as bitcoin is concerned, it shall be fine soon as per previous experiences, but there is no surety about the profits.

I think predictions from last year have gone the other way around or the opposite to be specific. This month the value of bitcoin is around $6K+ to $7K+ and closer to $8K and many people saying that is the beginning of recovery from the last dip.

Its very difficult to expect too much maybe I can say is just hoping not expecting that bitcoin will be stable before the year end of 2018. I expect it to go to maximum of $20000. I think this year was very bad in comparison to last year.

Since I am devoted to cryptocurrency I am expecting Bitcoin and Altcoins could possibly hit or exceed its peak in this coming last quarter of 2018. Many investors are hoping for that to happen and possible it will happen because a lot of countries today are starting to support bitcoin as a medium payment.

I generally think that for Bitcoin any year, it will be good. Not because it is the world's first crypto currency. And probably, the matter in its demand is always in all the years. So, our beloved bitcoin can sleep peacefully.

During the last year we had an important bull run that moved Bitcoin prices up. The market capitalization and the price of virtual currencies couldn’t stop growing. Which was the roof? Nobody knew about it.

It is almost one year that bitcoin goes dipper and dipper from 20,000 USD to 7,000 USD from year 2017 up to date.

After this very low market value of bitcoin we are expecting that bitcoin will grow higher again this year 2018. Everyone want this also. I dont expect something in this year because I accept what will happen and what is the current situation because that`s the reality, that we need to accept it, because for me no one can knows  the future, so its better to accept what is the current situation than to expect something happen in the future.

I said growth, but tbh, I am not so sure right now. The thing that is happening right now is very beneficial to traders. They make their daily $$$ or btc and they have no reason to see btc go sky high at the moment. If everyone knows it will go up massively at some point in the near future, why not try and make as much bitcoin as possible? Our market trend tend to be very changeable and it have an unpredictable trend.  We expect more pumps as we step on the 3rd quarter but sadly we haven't witness that things around. Hope there is a huge change as we enter in the 4th quarter of this year.

The result of every prediction and expectation is not in a good shape on this last quarter of the year 2018, stability is much prefer than decreasing it's potential. Which mean the survivability is quite good but the growth is much differ from what we expect most. But the good thing is , the fight is not over yet. Fight to aim more income and profit which we are looking for. This is usual in every different market outside this crypto currencies.

Nobody can predict anything with any kind of guarantee. That's the first reasonable argument. A lot of stakeholders would push the hype up and say it will cost $10k and $100 k by 2020. I see no signs of it getting there. Otherwise we would see at least some movement now.
