I think the best that you can get from the Altcoin Discussion is us hearing the opinions of other people. If I would be assessing something, like the best coins in the market today, I would just post it here and probably gain some thoughts of other people. Because, we all think differently. And, different thinking from different people, you can get a lot of information. And, knowing that someone is thinking the same way as you, makes you feel that what you have thought is correct. Which might not be positive sometimes.

I'm too lazy to read these discussions, mostly here people write with a subjective and biased opinion. Those who really know something are unlikely to write here, and if they will write, then in order to deflate money from inexperienced people. Not always so, there is a lot of useful and truthful information, but it is difficult to distinguish it from everything else

I don't find this board very useful for discussing technical things about a coin or ICO, but scam warning and discussions are often came from here. So it's still fairly useful if you're finding out the legitimacy of a project, but not the quality of it. You got to decide that one yourself, I think.

everyone has different perception of a current issue or any kind of analysis. we do a thorough research into something depending if its qualitative or quantitative or both but I also think that each person has their own choice on what is the best answer. In this means, every person has their own opinions about each altcoins that makes it very easy for the new ones that has just joined the world of cryptocurrencies.

In my opinion while there are some good topics worth discussing, there are also a lot that are pure trashy spam. The good topics will give you first hand info on good buying opportunities while on the other hand, trashy spam topics only serve to shill their own coins. Sometimes, you really have to sift through garbage to find useful topics here, but when you do, it's usually good enough info to earn you a quick buck or two.
