Blockchain has been a great help to store important legal documents and deeds. And the technology itself assure the security of the data. But this technology can also benefit the multimedia industries like film, video games, music etc. They are continuously fighting for piracy and I think blockchain may have the solution. The Authentication of the project can take place on the blockchain, which could guarantee the ownership to the owner.

If you refer to copyright, this is indeed the case, it's one of the applications that the blockchain technology has. In fact, there are already platforms that offer the registration of intellectual property in the blockchain.

Piracy is the big problem in the web industry based on this the policy makers also fix this solutions because it is the cause of many losses based on this people can copyright this issues and use it safely based on this everyone should aware of use it so it may not leak.

The transparency of blockchain also contributes as a great factor. Surely it does quite a decent job keeping the legality of a certain document and the security of the data. But still, having it a solution to piracy as a whole would still be a work in progress, for now, it can be used as a prevention to some piracy.

I think you could only use the blockchain to increase the copyright protection, piracy is a different thing that is way harder to control.

Not to mention that since piracy is something enforced in some countries but tolerated in others, there will always be solutions to avoid getting caught.

Blockchain provides security. If investors are use this they feel more secure. Now a day’s many organizations are connect with this blockchain technology.

I think crypto and blockchain itself is still far to be a solution to piracy, given the yesterday that just happened in Coinrail, it proves that this crypto is still in a state of weakness, so it can not be an important role of piracy solutions

Tolerated in others? What countries are those? I think there's no such country that would tolerate piracy since it's basically theft. Who would want that?

we need more than just blockchain to reduce piracy rates, because so far we only see blockchain used to secure digital currency transactions and not for things like that, maybe these two things are in different spheres. on the other hand.
it still needs a lot of development from the blockchain itself

There is transparency, security of data and ensuring copyright, but piracy is another matter altogether, one which might be dealt with eventually.
