Title: EOS Swap Doubt
Post by: devzstudio on June 06, 2018, 11:49:41 AM
I have stored EOS on an exchange, and they take care of the swap. Recently I have seen some of the EOS Airdrops, and I think the exchange is not going to provide these. So if I move my EOS to MEW after swap do I get any EOS Airdrop?

After the swap EOS will run on its own chain, that means that you wonīt be able to store it in you ethereum wallet. You need an EOS account.

A word of warning: https://www.reddit.com/r/eos/comments/87pc8o/eos_token_swap/?st=ji3hyvw1&sh=883edbab (https://www.reddit.com/r/eos/comments/87pc8o/eos_token_swap/?st=ji3hyvw1&sh=883edbab) Read it carefully or you risk having to follow a complex and risky process.

Also, good information on this one (https://steemit.com/eos/@eos-helpguide/so-you-purchased-eos-on-an-exchange-why-you-need-to-register-your-ethereum-wallet-address-at-eos-io-prior-to-the-1-june-2018) about how careful you had to be. In my view, this way of swapping is not serious and EOS should have thought of a better way.

BTW, 50% on EOS is in 10 accounts. Donīt bother to vote.
