How can a newbie or an existing improve his/her rank on bitcoin forum. What level of participation does such member need.

Honestly, it is really hard to rank up account these days.
The merit factor made it difficult. but it's not impossible.
most important thing you need to do earn merit and you must enter helpful posts to earn merit.

raise your rankings is a tiring job, drain your tranquility and waste a lot of time, I resign and receive the rankings I have, I have no desire to raise my account rankings, if you want to keep trying to raise your rankings you can get it by making a post I think everyone will say the same thing as I say.

To raise your ranks, you need to be active on the platform by making constructive posts. But there is.something called merits that you also need to rank up. Even if the number of your posts increase, but you dont get merits, then you cannot rank up.

That was made harder some time ago, so the only thing you could make is to be patient and active no forum, it is possible to rank up but you need to be online on forum for long time and try to answer some threads that you are interested in.

Talking about Newbie increasing his rank; in the first place a Newbie has no forum posting experience, I am not talking about Newbie with older forum accounts but Newbie that are fresh. The rules of the game have changed, to move in rank you need some merits that comes from quality posting. Just relax, learn the ropes and earn more merits to move on, thanks.

As a matter of fact, all i would do right now is to advice you to calm down and learn alot via this forum as it is very glaring that here is for nothing but knowledge increasing when it comes to crypto entirely. Keep reading from the past topics in the forum to know very well how to create yours in a proper way, reply to post genuinely and the rest like ranks would follow while old members would be giving merits to you posts.

Its really really close to impossible.You have just only one chance its buying merit from people.Otherwise , merit system is equal friendship job.

For now, you need to get attention of the merit providers. Nearly no members use their smerit to credit new users except some few who are designated to do so. These people are involved in their own niche and the best way to get merit and find them and their interest and write what they want to read.

I think increasing rank is kind of a hard job. But you can raise it by making helpful post and being active most of the time. Lastly, you need some merits to achieve it.

ranking up is difficult since the introduction of merit system but it is never impossible because I have seen some member earning merit. if you want to earn merit you should be ready to deliver something that you believe will be generally be acceptable and helpful to members here on bitcointalk. especially the senior to legendary member because they hold higher merit and they may decide to merit your post if they find it helpful.

merit factor makes a lot of people complain because of their difficulties in order to achieve a higher rank. Maybe this is actually a good thing because certainly the member should be guided to have science and avidly read in order to produce a quality post.

In order to increase your ranking, you have to actively participate in commenting on the forum. When you get more rankings your rank will be lifted which is the simplest way to raise your rank.

Decent post really matters , but with a lots reply to the post also boost your ranking in. You get merit points when someone sends you some for one of your posts. Additionally, when someone sends you merit points, half of those points can be sent by you to other people.

From newbie to Jr. Member is easy as requirements are same such as at least 30 activity in atleast 4 weeks. Due to merit system if you are new in this forum I can say getting a hero/legendary ranked is now just a dream unless you broke the rules like getting merit from personally known friends or buying a ranked account. Getting 10 merits to rank to member is hard then how much more getting  100 merits to become full member and so on. Just accept the fact that since we are late then be contented of atleast Jr. Member.

Just read a lot, understand, learn and respond accordingly. Keep your posts interactive, informative and topical. The rest will take care of itself, is out of your hands, and brooding over it defeats the purpose.

It's a hard job to improve your grade, because the benefits are hard to come by, and you can get the best by posting some good posts. But I think this is very difficult, which has led to very difficult to raise the level.

Since they get the new merit procedure it’s very hard to rank up nowadays, which they divided it in some criteria in every post you made. So better you compose a comments/suggestions that really helpful and also related on the topic not out of nowhere answers. It's hard to improve now, the rules of the game have changed, and in order to improve the rankings, you need to post some quality posts. And then you get some high level user recognition, and you get a certain amount of Merit that you can upgrade.

Merits are very difficult to earn these days.  To be honest, many of us old timers wouldn't have the rank that we currently have if the merit system was implemented earlier.  I have yet to receive a merit since the system went into effect. 

for me its really hard to rank up this bitcointalk era because you need merit too rank up and its hard to gain one of it.

It will be difficult nowadays to increase rank. I would suggest that we will just keep reading to widen our knowledge. With this we can probably deliver a good post and acquire a merit.

Increase in membership rankings is becoming difficult to do. To climb the rankings, you need some merit and it's hard to get it because it has to make a really useful post.

just participate comment alone is not enough. If the comment does not have a meal and not informative of course it would only be futile anyway. create a posting that has a good quality it is of value and of knowledge. has been so sure someone else will no doubt give merit to you.

I agree. The merit system has made it quite difficult to rank up these days, but it is definitely not impossible. It is quite easy to still become a member in this forum these days, but it gets a lot tougher from there. Fortunately, there are many merit based giveaways and contests which rewards the best quality posters in this forum which goes to show that it is still possible to earn merit regularly albeit at a slow and steady pace.

Actually its hard for a member now to rank up, you should get a number of merit from your good quality post in order  for you to be ranked up, be sure your post would be helpful to others.

I think if anyone posts relative and constructive things he/she can improve the rank. But you also need active and have to quality for achieve your desire rank.

To be honest its very hard to rank up your level nowadays. If your from newbie to junior member, its not that hard because you just have to be active in the forum and posting to increase your activity and thats it. But to rank up a junior member account, thats the hard part. Aside from activity, you also have to gain merits which is the tricky part, and usually the hardest part.

It's very hard now for a member to rank up, now you have to get merit for you to rank up, I suggest that you have to make a comment or post that is something would be helpful to others and they can get learnings from what you have been posting on.

At the moment the increase in rank on the forum is very time-consuming process. Although it sounds simple enough: "be useful for the forum and you'll get a reward." I just don't have time for this. Forever Jr. Member.

Increasing your rank has become a lot more difficult (some would say impossible without cheating) since the introduction of merit. Two conditions really,One is to increase the activity by posting more often(not spamming),also the quality of post so that you can get merits from people who value your contribution.

These days, it has been very difficult to raise your rank, as merit point has made it very difficult to rank up. Forum members are here still not used to giving merits, so you wouldn't get many.

Nowadays its very hard for us to increase our rank up, they said we have to make very good quality post that can help and give knowledge to others to get merit from the people who valued your post.

Today it has become much more difficult than before. But you can.  To increase rank you need to obtain achievements. Perform certain actions. Write posts, actively participate in dialogues.

It's all depends on your contributions to the platform. Meaningful ones.
