Your account requires activity points to reach Jr. member rank. And after that you will need both Activity points and Merits to rank up. Activity points are awarded after every 2 weeks while Merits are to be earned manually by posting quality content on the forum.
You can only get 14 activity points per 2 weeks as you get only 1 for a day, and they are all summed up and added to your account bi-weekly.

Without the merit system which was introduced recently, your rank would have been upgraded with activities of your postings. That's by every 14 days your rank activity upgrade with 14 activities.

Ranking system consists of two parts: Activity and Merit

I am pretty confused about the activity points too, sometimes when I made like 3 comments in the forum, but only 1 point added, but sometimes there are like 3 points.

The activity is updated hourly basis. it will take some time to update.

To help others, or to make contributions, to gain recognition from others, you can get praise and then upgrade. Many of the above posts have also been said. So rely on your own enthusiasm and hard work.

Stop asking questions. Thousands of times it has been posted and I'm wondering people still answering with some useful link. Is it necessary? Someone can easily use the search bar and also use google to have answers
