If Argentina goes ahead to implement the international transfer with bitcoin then it will be a boost to the crypto community and will attract more patronage from other country if it is successful with Argentina and that will definitely means more adoption for bitcoin and also rise in value.

Fantastic bit of news. Very positive for the community. Hope other counties will follow suit and adopt Bitcoin for their international transfer for its faster and cheaper fees.

This is a great news to all of us. If argentina goes ahead to implement bitcoin in their country, it might some other countries will follow argentina to allow bitcoin transactions in their country. This will be one of the reason why investors will invest more in bitcoin and we'll gonna be all happy.

I see this as a great news even though some are criticizing it because it should involve other countries to be successful. I believe with time, some others would adopt. It is a gradual process and a step in the right direction.

A SEPA transfer takes less than 24 hours too. It's just that some banks credit your account after 24 hours because of whatever reason they have. But some banks credit your account within 12 hours or less.

And I agree with @stompix if Argentina is the only country then how an international transfer can be done

Why include third parties when Bitcoin is meant for peer-to-peer transferring? They are just making things more confusing and therefore leads to unnecessary additional payments.

First this news was reported around the 3rd week of May. Second I don't think that its 100% decentralizes as we all know that it will be Argentina's Banco Masventas will open it as alternative to Swift transaction but they have partnered with Bitex in the implementation. Although this is a good option, but I would rather as the poster above have said, make it just wallet to wallet transfer.And as far as remittances is concern, Argentina ranks 70 globally, (https://www.theglobaleconomy.com/rankings/Remittances/). Although this is a welcoming news, I don't think it will have enough momentum to push the market, but hey, we need every positive news, so let's hope that at least the Argentinian Crypto community will be happy about this announcement.

I think it's great news for all Bitcoin communities. If the Argentines come forward to implement Bitcoin in the country, then other countries will allow them to accept it. As a result, there will be a lot of impact on Bitcoin prices. It only uses Bitcoin in one country as an international sending method if it is meaningless.

based on Market value btc users are increasing also this will affect on economy and many country is doing trade with btc also they accepted btc also Argentina also accept this coins and they are trading globally so the price of btc will increase and value will increase.

This step is quite unique, given that banks have actively invested in blockchain technology, but few are interested in marketing bitcoin use.

Blockchain news does not seem to affect the price of Bitcoin anymore. If the developments to be experienced for this reason are over Bitcoin, the price will be affected.

That’s a good news eventually much more than nothing positive right,, but for instance that a next country will announce and implement the same will boost such transaction.. I do think Japan(if ever) and Argentina can work this out if two countries will have the intention of pushing this out.. I don’t see significant movement in price on this one..

I think that this is obvious that crypto payments are a much better way to go.
As far as i know the EU zone has the best payment system between countries and even that takes sometimes 2 days . This is no brainier , crypto is the way.

Volatility isn't such a thing for transfers, they know how the price are fluctuating that quick.

It is, there's no need to use the traditional payment system if all things are already automated and with crypto. The old system were quite slow and expensive, it really takes a lot of time before confirmation.

I think even without the advice and approval of the government, the citizens of argentina can use bitcoin as a means of transfer between countries. The government provides such a rule so the stupid bitcoin user can use their bank service as a third party to transfer bitcoins and they will take advantage of this in tax form.

BMV adopt bitcoin payment as an alternative to SWIFT, so International payment means to transfer money anywhere around the globe, I guess.


At least a domestic bank in Latin America area has adopted bitcoin even though have to cooperate with a 3rd party as the intermediary, it's still good enough to introduce bitcoin to layman.
