Title: --Closed--[Nevermind]
Post by: zephyr_designs on June 07, 2018, 10:33:51 AM
Hello,

I need $500 as loan for setting my online webdesigner business.
I am a designer myself, need money to setup store and promote it.

Payment of $750 after 2 months. [Not guaranteed, but i will try my level best]
What if idea doesn't work ? I would pay you with my freelance earnings. or you could get templates designed from me. [Whichever you choose]

Thanks.

Do some freelancing works (there is no difference by making a store, it's still freelancing), get the 500$ that you need and make it.
By asking people to give you their money with no guarantees, is crazy. You will ever give this amount to a stranger without having something to secure your money? No you don't.

So offer something as collateral instead of offering nothing. You don't want a red from the start.

So, you're a newbie asking for a $500 loan that you may or may not payback in 2-months, because you have no guarantee that you will be able to have the repayment by then and you do not have collateral to back these terms with any kind of confidence. Do you honestly think this is going to result in a loan, or negative feedback from DT members?

Without collateral, and with those shaky terms there is almost nobody that is crazy enough to fund this loan. You're more likely to find a generous donor, or angel investor than someone to grant you a loan on these terms.

You need to provide your details, not just a story. Sorry but without any details, you can't do anything here.

I can rewrite your title for you. :)

Looking for $500 loan

Let's flip the scenario around. Would you send me 500 dollars just because I say I need money, and without security? And I stipulate that (assuming I stuck around, which none would), I'll maybe have to pay you back in worthless web templates?

Sorry mate. But you need to switch the order you are doing things in. If the templates you'd pay back in are worth 500, then build those, sell them, and problem solved. Or at least if you *wanted* to borrow, you could add collateral, as is safe for all parties.

Very strange you ask for money. In the first post writing that you might not come back, anything can happen. How? When a person takes responsibility for someone else's money, he must clearly understand that he will return them. It can't be wrong. He must be doomed to success. Good luck to you my friend, but I cannot believe you

Hello,

I never scammed anyone.
I am new here, i saw people where asking for loan.

Some were doing that without collateral, i too tried.

I read many -ve comments to my post.
So i myself deleted to topic. No one advised me or asked me to do.

Have i have scammed anyone ?
I asked for help in open board

But then this user from nowhere gives me -ve feedback after i have deleted topic by myself. I did not pm anyone asking money.
I just honestly said everything.

User which gave me -ve,

[I know he is old and big member, but i don't even know him]

So, for misusing the feedback i personally give him -ve feedback.

Look at this wannabe moderator,

Giving -ve feedback seems his pass time.

Nice work mate,
You added some more shit into my life.

Starting as a seller from -ve feedback is very tough.

I am sure that Vod is devastated by your negative trust.

It's guys like him who keep the forum safe, and guys like you who do the opposite.

One of these people I'd gladly tip beer money to anytime, and one I would not. Guess who is who.
(Vod, if you see this post, it's genuinely meant. Anytime. :) )

The fact that you never read the forum stickies, and just decided to beg for money is your fault, and yours alone.
Nobody added shit to your life. They just stopped you from adding shit to naive lenders' lives.

You call it a "misuse" of feedback:
Quote
information about reactions to a product, a person's performance of a task, etc., used as a basis for improvement.

We all gave information. It was our reaction. To your request. And it may be used as a basis for improvement on your part.

So now I'll throw in a negative trust as well, because not only are you an almost assured beggar/scammer, but you also are intending to have an attitude problem throughout the process.

Vod is clearly a good judge of character.
