Title: Crypto currency
Post by: GreatMachine on June 07, 2018, 03:59:56 PM
Hi guys. I'm new here.
Can someone please help me a little? I already have 0.6 BTC, now I want to increase them, so what do I do? Leave them or enclose them somewhere?
I will be very happy with your advice in PM.

Please, do not write to me if you do not have a crypto currency, because it often turns out to be a fraud.
Thanks. And sorry for bad language, i'm from Romānia :)

What you are really asking is "How do I get money?"

Well, you can buy it with other money, provide a service with payment in bitcoin, or sell something for bitcoin. If you in the USA there is a new place to sell worth checking out. Craigslist.com now has a filter to buy and sell for crypto currency. Put some stuff for sale at a cheap price and maybe you will get some interest.

Some people may suggest gambling or buying their alt-coin. F that. Be a grown-up and put in the effort for better results.

Welcome to the forum! Congratulations getting .6 BTC, hopefully, you will have one full coin soon! I'll give you some ideas so you know what options you have.
If you want to increase your coins, the safest way of doing that is just to buy more BTC. However, if that is not an option, you could take a riskier path and trade altcoins. If you do well enough trading these altcoins, then you could increase your holdings, but it is very risky and probably not worth it. You can lose a lot fast, so be careful and do your research. If someone asks you to send your coins to them and they will send more back, don't do it! Its a scam! Be very careful with your BTC and soon enough you will own 1 coin. Good luck!

I would say if you are new in this then you just just sit back and wait .. hold on to them since buying and selling ie. Active trading is something that you should do when you are ready for the loss and know a lot about it.
You could just join some signature Campaign and hold all the money that you get , periodically Taking out the bit you need.
It's definitely easy process but you need to invest in a good wallet , otherwise it will be disastrous .

It is a very good you already have .6 BTC. If this is what you have, and you are new here, it will be you bought that amount of BTC, which means buying is not counted as an option. There are several ways to increase your BTC, but Note, its risky.
1. Trading, buying and selling of altcoins and bitcoins,
2. Investing into ICOs ( its advisable to make self research before investing),
3. Gambling, which contains a good amount of both losses and profits, etc.

I will be very happy with your advice in PM.

Asking for pm is not a good idea for me, cause it will lead you being scammed, using convincing words to buy your mind. Try make everything transparent, not for only you, but for every body that will need answers too.

I agree.

@OP
You said you are asking for  advises on how to get started. You should be careful also about stating how much you have. People can try to kill you just for that amount of BTC.

Well as an advice alright, Try to earn more and save them. Keep or store them they rise or just let it grow for future purposes.
Strong hand can be quite stressful these days because of the recent slumps but I still think it will be paid off.
Try doing other things for a while.

If you want your coin to grow then try trading, by this you won't need more money to have BTc but rather risk it by buying some altcoins. If I were to trade your 0.6 btc, I'd buy USD today and wait for BTc to drop again, currently its $7,695.76. Or probably just buy ETH and wait til it drops again and but back at lower price just as how others do.

For some people who believe bitcoin will have a high price by the end of this year, you can save it well. The 0.6 btc you have will now have a different value if the bitcoin price actually rises at the end of this year.

But if you have more desire to make your btc value increase, you can trade. Btc trading is not so difficult but risky, you must have an understanding of btc trading first.

I guess it's two ways you can make your bitcoin value increase, or it can augment bitcoin you have now.

in my opinion there are various ways you can do to increase the 0.6 BTC you have, such as by investing in bitcoin or altcoin, and also with altcoin trading but of course it all depends on your ability and knowledge about how to use crypto

Dude, do not do day trade, do this:

1 -) buy Hardware wallets, buy this  https://www.ledgerwallet.com/products ( see videos on youtube how it works and search google how Hardware wallets work )

2 - ) transfer all your bitcoin to your Hardware wallets and save your private keys well, you can also search about private keys on youtube and google

3 - ) hold your bitcoin for many year that you can double your profit or even triple your profit. for example, today the price of bitcoin and $7000 and if the price of bitcoin is $21000 then you made 3x of your investment.

PS: Do not do day trading, do not be ambitious thinking that you will increase your bitcoins with sell and buy, you can lose all your bitcoin.

I will be very happy with your advice in PM.

Please do not be naive to believe in investment offers that promise fixed returns per day, do not fall for this scam, because surely many people will send you PM with these kind of offers.

Try to invest it, or you might be earn some income if you join the bounty project. For me personally I would like to keep it or invest it and while I'm waiting I could join the signature campaign and try to find out about any other information in this forum.

Your options are pretty limited and they include investing into promising alts and waiting for their price to spike. Day trading which means to trade and earn money on price swings tho this is not easy job and requires a lot of skills. There are some companies that will pay you interest on your money although you have to trust then to not run with your money, I've found gambling websites to have an option for you to invest there but again this is not something you should do all time as you have some risks. Go and offer your service for crypto or bitcoin or any other altcoin and by this way earn and generate more.

0.6 BTC is a relative amount, I think you can use it to invest in the ICO. Investing in ICO is like a venture capital investment, and you will spend a lot of time waiting, but profit is also very stable.

Hello. that's what I think is the supreme question. we all ask the same thing. how to make my money multiply. many would send you to work. I think you should risk turning your bitcoin into something else and doing business with it, so you can earn some extra money

Congratulations! you have 0.6 BTC, that's a good start, and if you wish to increase them just as you've written, then you need to be ready to take risk, yeah for sure you need to be aware that there will be a possibility of lost in any method you choose to increase this 0.6 BTC. In my own opinion, i would advice you to make more research yourself, get to understand it cause if someone else helps you out and you end up loosing the coin, you will also take that person as fraud. Just try to learn how it works.

It is a good start for your crypto journey with 0.6 bitcoin. There are few ways to grow the amount of your bitcoin.

1. ICOs investing
2. Treading
3. Mining
4. Lending

All above method is very risky. Trading and ICOs investing is my favourite option. When considering the ICO investing you have to do a better research before investing in ICO.

You can try buy some altcoins with perspective future, but firstly your should analyze project, idea and team of coin which you want to buy on hold

It's a terrible suggestion for a newbie. First of all newbies don't have the experience to tell which alts are good and which of them aren't, reading the wp can be the most boring thing so they would just end up throwing their money into a random project hoping to end up winning like in a lottery.

If you dont know what to do and dont want to read all the investment threads here on BTT
then you should better keep it the way it is now, cause you will lose everything in other case

This is not a bank. It is not that you can get the interest when you put the coin there because it is very risky. Of course unless you look at it a few years later, there will be unexpected gains.

There are too many upcoming ICO projects. You can invest your bitcoin to few ICO projects. Don't put all bitcoin in one ICO. Choose different good project to invest them. First of all please do your own research about ICO project. You can get some advice from experts. And also you can trade your bitcoin with altcoins buy low and sell high. I think do you have to study a lot before invest or trade them.

Agree with you universe_ , how to find a good ico & make investment on them is not easy to understand,
sure that person end up with hating this market.
better take some time and make some learning about this market.

You can leave it for about 6 months and see if the market will recover to enable you to make more bitcoins in addition. If you can learn trading, then you can trade with it. Is the easiest way to increase your bitcoins.

First, Exchange your bitcoin to ETH if you invest in an ICO to invest but if the ICO accepts bitcoin then no need to exchange your bitcoin to ETH (risky). Second, keep your bitcoin in your own wallet and keep it safe then always check the bitcoin's market cap and sell your bitcoin to "FIAT" when bitcoin's new price is profitable then wait again for the price to go down before buying bitcoin again (safe but it will take you longer to increase your bitcoin). Third, become a trader and it's faster but risky.
First = Investing (such as ICO) - Risky (It may be a "SCAM")
Second = Not Selling Bitcoin or known as HODL (Hold On for Dear Life).
Third = Trading (Risky) - You may get scammed.

You can grow your bitcoin by trading and mining and i don't suggest you to invest your bitcoin in any sites because the most of them is hyip sites and you can lose your bitcoin in every second

First of we need to get over the bull run bias. Mass media brainwashing sources just keep promising us that BTC will 30k EOY... but they always give promises to distract us from the now... BTC was at precipice of going where it is now, and they started appearing in the media like nothing is about to happen. I figure these people have more experience in markets then all of us combined.

We were bias toward bull... Its time to learn to short and be open to all possibilities. These people gain even in bear market. Don't get me wrong, the markets have "uptrend momentum" but also has a tick tock movement.

Short the market: use 0.01 BTC with 2x leverage on bitmex on next bad news.
