As I remember, I check whitepaper or some articles about Burst and Storj, they said that Burst and Storj are true asic-resistance. Truth is, yeah, unless you started HDD mininng a year ago or later, you will have a difficult time ROI-ing on your equipment. I am however confident that proof-of-storage is safe from ASICs. But the main thing is it's ASICs and FPGA resistance. This is true democratic mining. We need more innovative alternative. Yes, hdd is in itself an ASIC for these coins. Awesome. |
