How many times do you wash yourself in week? Either shower or bath.

Once a day, except in the coldest winter.

You know what I actually know some friends who only shower or bath once a week. And they leave the water in the bath, and someone else of the his family use the bath after, using the dirty water from the first person. Yuk....  :o

I have a shower once a day, and sometimes I have it twice a day if it is a really hot day.  :)

Bath is only once a blue moon. As I find it a waste of time.

I usually like one nice big soak in the bath once a week, but shower on the mornings.

It depends. If I'm just staying home for the weekend I don't shower fridays or saturdays (Yep, I shower one day in advance!). However if I do something during the weekends I shower 7 days a week.

Usually daily, but sometimes I'll skip on a Saturday or Sunday if I don't have plans. Some days if I've been physically active and gotten sweaty, I'll shower twice in one day.

99% of the time I shower once a day, usually a couple hours before sleeping. I like to sleep clean.

Why don't you people know that showering or bathing once a day is bad for you?

Really? How come? I do it every day, don't like the smell of my sweat :D

First, the heat from the shower makes the skin's oils soften, much as butter softens and melts when heated. Add some soap into the mix, and the skin's oil barrier will be stripped away in no time. Without those oils, the moisture in your skin easily escapes, leading to dry and itchy skin. The longer and hotter the shower, the faster this process takes place and the more moisture you're likely to lose.

And sweat only stinks when it decomposes btw.

How many times in a week? I shower when people around me start to vomit.

in Winter I like 2 time in a week and in Summer I like 2 time in a day because I cannot live without this  :D

Well for some people it's a luxury, so maybe that's all they can have. I bet that one bath or shower a week feelsjohngoodman.jpg though.

The salt in the water would risk drying up your skin.

I inhale car fumes, use mobile phone and eat conserved food every day. I'd pick some dry skin over that any time!

I told you, I know a friend who only bath once a week, and then another member of his family will use that water again for bath.  :o

Thats just gross..or maybe just dont want to pay a high water bill lol.

Why no monthly and bi-monthly and annually?

I like my dead-skin armor. I don't like to water the bacteria growing on my body, feeding it lard and sugars daily/weekly. I get charged for 50-gallons of water a month, whether I use it or not... After flushing once a week and a pot of coffee every day, that leaves only room or one shower a month. 49.95 gallons... Screw the man!

Holy fuck me! You're suppose to do this shit every week? And possibly multiple times? With water and soap? I'm scared to death to read this thread, opting to just post, fearing somebody might have offered up some type of underwear changing schedule, for I'm already having a sub-par day, not able to take much more.

The only time my skin gets stressed is for some reason when it's about to heavily rain or snow in winter and that's eczema which seems to have just developed on its own and it only happens on my knuckles, mainly on my right hand for some weird reason.

I'm a chinchilla. I just roll around in the dust of decades of dead skin cells that fill the house I've never cleaned.

I've been doing this every day since I started living with a girl and that's been over 10 years - my skin is fine. Before that it was every 2 days (didn't see much difference but she insisted  ::)) I have a friend who does it once a week and changes socks when they start to get stiff :D

I lick myself clean, like my cat does... Sometimes she helps... Then I roll around in the yard, like my dog... but only once a week.

What he doesn't mention is that your hair can catch smells, so if you work in a restaurant you will smell like food the rest of the day. This doesn't sound that bad, but people also work in the sewers and other smelly places. There are many pros of daily showers and the poll seems to prove most of us know what they are.

Once a year or less. I base it on the thickness of plaster on my skin created by death skin cells.
