did anybody else made this mistake?
 
so i bought this company electroneum last year october they were going for 1 cents i watch it goes up to 20 cents so that was 20 times the amount that i bought it for, my friend was telling me to sell them because he sold his an got over 30g on it but i thought it might go up to probably 10cents more was just been greedy so  i was up to 8g that time and i didnt listen to my friend an sell it now its drop to 800 dollars it sucks

This happened to me brah! But not exactly on the same company as you.

I invested 198$ to buy CAPP so got 27,000. then they went up to 42 cents and i did not sell. they came down from 15600$ to 10,500$. I sold it at this point.

Now i usually do not have a favourite hodl coin

I would suggest a trading strategy rather than just hodl forever.

A popular one is to take out your initial investment once it doubles (or any other percentage that your goal is). Then you're playing with pure profit. Keep taking out half every time it doubles, and spread your money around for diversification.

In your example of a coin going to 20x before it drops, you will be taking profit all along the way. The problem is you don't know for sure how much it will go up or down, so remember to take profit when you can. Buy again when it loses half its value ;)

well to be honest i was thinking the same way too recently but before i wasnt thinking like this at all i was just thinking if it goes up an i cash out an then it end up going to a dollar then i fucked up big time thats how i was thinking still lol
