Title: Maestro Project
Post by: acidburn14 on June 08, 2018, 04:17:21 PM
Maestro is a blockchain based music streaming platform for artists and listeners. Meaning not only the artists will be in the lime light here but also the listeners.

So what makes Maestro different from other music services blockchain?

Its because existing music services blockchain are only focused on improving established streaming and distribution structures and they fail to address the fundamental problems of the current music industry. Unlike Maestro which intend to solve the unfair structure of the music industry. Study shows that 80% of the generated profit that should be supposedly be given to the artist are going to the third parties such as label and agencies which leave the artist struggling with financial support.

Maestro believe that for both music and its industry to thrive there should be a fair compensation between the company and the artist. That is why Maestro created a blockchain based music platform that acts as a creative ecosystem established on virtuous cycles of cooperation between creators and consumers.

The best thing for me about Maestro is that they aim to create a transparent industry through decentralization with the help of blockchain technology. They will leave out the "third parties" or the "middlemen" from the process which will make the consumers use streaming services in a more reasonable price.
