I guess you are not using photoshop. You are limited to only one preset. I see that.You can't design complicated logos,can you ?

I can design a complicated logo, but I don't know any customer who would like one. It's very difficult to use complicated logos.
All logos are unique and not just a bunch of effects thrown on a font 8)
My style can vary, it depends on customer's requests.

I don't use any presets.
Photoshop is not designed to create logos, especially if we are talking about professional work. In my opinion logos should be created in vector format.
But yes, it is possible to take a logo and play with it using Photoshop.

I hired Bitcrea to do a logo for a soon to launch company. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted, but BitCrea was able to take what i thought was an already stellar logo and make it better. He provided me with 3-4 unique concepts and revisions. One of the designs he came up with on his own ended up replacing my idea for the logo. It was that well done. Communication was always fast and professional. This is not the typical armchair artist so prevalent here on the forums. This guy is a true professional. I would recommend his services without hesitation, and he has earned my future business.

Cryptothrift is a cryptocurrency marketplace and auction site with an automated escrow service. We support Bitcoin, Litecoin, Feathercoin, Primecoin, Mincoin, Worldcoin and Maxcoin. Our target users are, of course, cryptocurrency guys who would like to earn and spend coins on goods and services. Mostly males in the age group 18-35.
We're not totally concerned about the colours, something that fits the current theme would be great, but something that looks modern with complimentary colours is something we would also consider (I know, you are going to make me change the current theme Smiley).
I would rather a flat logo than a 3D looking one


I didn't wanted to use wallets, carts, hammers on my creative perspective, so I went a different way. I went with flat, clean, original and easily memorable design.
Decision: I wanted it to look simple, professional and kinda "coiny" that it would have cryptocurrency feel. I played with "ct" initials and came up with this "coiny" feel. Those "pixels" represents "bits" and you can also notice a + in the design, which means sales, profit. 8)
I also added a few alternative variations that also has a meaning.

I do appreciate other designers PROFESSIONAL work and I'm not comparing myself to other professionals. Professional work is a professional work, no matter how conceptually it was done. I always pay attention to clients needs and requests.

Working on custom font on "9TO5" kept all circular shapes symmetric, added a frame to give a bit of "newsletter" and/or "stamp" feel.
Made a couple of clocks, some are a bit more detailed, some are less, but at the same time kept it all simple and crisp as requested.

Hey, thanks! Yeah I've studied graphic design in general (I can do lots of things with graphics, not just branding and logos), but most of the time I've spent on branding. Not to mention that I have a big passion for graphic design, so I think that helps me to come up with ideas :)
As well I'm currently studying advertising, I had a market psychology course :)

I've used chromatic, light, friendly purple and yellow colors as a reference to a red onion.

That looks really nice. Have you tried having the Orange in the middle and the Green and blue on the opposite ends?
Might look better.
