When we talk about the atlcoins then people think that it is the most risky investment or some of them think that it is not worth to invest into it and they suggest its better to invest in the BTC and secure your funds. True ! But completely false truth!  ;)

The thing is, altcoins are something that are nothing but earliest days of bitcoin when it was first launched in the market 2009. When an altcoin comes in then it represent nothing more but the infancy stage of th bitcoin and thus we should always give them time to proliferate so that we can benefit from it. Just the same way bitcoin took almost 9 years to go moon then why there is rush with Altcoins anyway?

Who agrees on this matter?

Bitcoin is the only one. And the number of altcoins are very large. Therefore, to conduct a parallel between the thousands of altcoins and 1 bitcoin is absolute stupidity.
You can draw an indirect parallel between the courses of some coins. But only in digital format and only. Everyone wants their tokens to grow 1000 times, but it's more like a roulette.

I understand your intentions, I agree altcoin also have a great chance to become better like Bitcoin, I agree altcoin can also go to the moon, I like altcoin and I invest in altcoin, because the price is still cheap and I still can afford it, I sure one day altcoin will go to the moon.

I dont think anyone has an argument with that fact, or that it comes as a surprise. Btc has proved itself over time and thus earned fav status. Still most everyone is investing in alts too recognizing their future worth and scope.

I agree that some altcoins may follow bitcoin's growth in terms of price upward movement but on thing is for sure, no one will replace BTC on its achievement of being recognized all over the world and banks. Still, there are some altcoins offers better services and transaction speed. Well, investing in altcoin is really profitable than investing in BTC.

Indeed. The growth is sure when it comes to the fairly legit coins around us. Even take the example of ETH where it was worth couple of dollars one day and now its around few hundreds! Thats the growth we are talking about and these all are supporting evidences for the crypto currency hikes and its not just few times but some hundred to thousand times the basic value. I agree that development can help in this regard a lot and thus we should be watching such coins all the time for our profits. Just look at the market and see, many coins are coming in the Top 50 and reaching the level of Top 30, 20, and eventually 10! Why is that so? Because people keep watching for it and invest more and more and thus it gets higher status. So yeah the idea of long term is the same only.

  Some altocoins are better than BTC in terms of their volatility, growth rate and some other factors. But we all know that most growth in value that occur in most altocoins are driven by BTC prices.

This is the magic of time actually. The developments will occur only to those projects which are actually legit one and if not then there will be no development and thus these coins will never get spiked in the future. BTC is suggested all the time because may be thats what is on the minds of everyone since the first day of crypto currency for them.
Investment in an altcoin is considered as risky because they turn into scam easily as compared to bitcoin which is here since a decade now. So I guess its obvious to trust the BTC more and more these days.

Well I quite disagree with your saying that all these altcoins are at infant stage mainly because their prices heavily rely on bitcoin prices while bitcoin building up its price from zero to thousand dollars so it's basically looks the same but actually different but
in reality, people have seen bitcoin as the only true cryptocurrency just like gold, the altcoin will be trusted just when people educated enough to see that there's also underlying potensial in many altcoins.

2 Altcoin has stolen more than 50% of bitcoin market domination
3 Altcoin has more advantage compared with bitcoin

Bitcoin is only good to he the store value and consider its widely adoption that makes bitcoin still placed on the number first of coinmarketcap.

People are more attracted and likely to invest on Bitcoin because they are the first cryptocurrency and it is widely used some altcoins has a good potential in the market, and their time will come when people trust their platform and they can show to the world that they are a good alternative to Bitcoin.

Your opinion is correct. I don't think that Bitcoin is safer than other Altcoins. Even though Altcoins still need a big process to achieve the effectiveness of Bitcoin, I think the future is Altcoins' world, not Bitcoin!

Bitcoin's network health and acceptance as a reserve currency would help to bolster the crypto environment to pave the way for similar growth in certain alt coins.  I think it looks like we're getting there.  I agree that there is so much more than Bitcoin to get excited about, but Bitcoin's role in the story is going to be hugely important still, especially for the next year or two.  As other markets like security tokens and other financial systems, decentralized computing/storage, gaming/esports, etc take off, it will be the altcoins time to shine as long as they're done right.  They still need to build a strong network that's not at risk of being 51% attacked, go about their offering in a smart way, and create real solutions.

I have the same thoughts as you. Altcoin may grow by following bitcoin traces, but it will not be able to replace bitcoin any time soon. Some people think that altcoin is better than bitcoin, because they certainly invest in altcoin. Basically both are profitable and have a good future for those who can survive.

agreed, but some altcoins that are continuously coming in the market are more likely to scam or just to raise funds & Team also stopped working on the project and left the investors with unworthy tokens, so as a result, no values of that token grows. So because of this most people like to invest in Bitcoin which is already an established coin by the community. Secondly, some people can't wait for 9 years or less to see their altcoin investment to get to the moon, they don't have patience & thinks Bitcoin can make them rich quickly so they look forward to investing in BTC.

I can’t agree with this agreement. Because still now bitcoin is the best crypto currency in the world. Peoples are investing on this project and earn lots of profit from this profit. It makes them no1 in this market.

they believe that because the result looks bitcoin most still bitcoin. so until now, they have always speculated bitcoin the safest and best for the fathoms. of course, this is not completely true because altcoin is also increasingly promising just haven't seen of bitcoin. but in some future time certainly thought it would be changed.

the opinion that as it is still a thought as well as the conversation that I think can not be verified in the future, although Altcoin can show its existence that Altcoin also able to compete later with BTC, but until now the highest value of crypto currency is still held by BTC.

if you are just an investors looking for good money ,then altcoins are of course more profitable than btc as it has more room to grow. and guess what ,if you are a believer in blockchain technology,then altcoins also are better than btc  ;D as some of them introduce real live applications .

altcoins won't emerge if bitcoin is not successful. they only emerge after its success and after that they want to cover up the flaws of bitcoin and compete with it. there are many scam ICOs today and they ruin cryptocurrency. this scam coins are altcoins.

Bitcoin and altcoin cannot be compared. Because bitcoin is a single coin and altcoin includes a larger variety of coin. How is this fare to compare these two? Bitcoin is the king crypto and alt follow it.

I do not agree if altcoin is said to be best compared to BITCOIN. what is the reason you mentioned that altcoin is the best? Which altcoin? what is it like? I think the bitcoin is the best

if your opinion is like that means you are counting each history alt coin means the same as bitcoin.
and I do not think that all alt coin will be like bitcoin which has a remarkable value after 9 years.

Bitcoin is the best in the market of crypto currency. Actually many people know the crypto currency market due to bitcoin. It is the most famous and reliable coin than any other coins operating in the market of crypto currency. But the altcoins have the capability to compete with bitcoin and some are doing.

You have no idea how active bitcoin development is and what is going on.
I can agree that many altcoins are good, but are they better?
I can't agree on that.

Bitcoin will be better anyway because everything solves value of network. Bitcoin network decides problem's network 51% hack. Altcoins in the near future will not be so strong like bitcoin.
 

BTC has established itself, now it is time for altcoins to be on the way of BTC. Alltcoins are establishing itself, many coins have in top 30 in ICO. People do have watch on them & invest in it then only they can have higher status. Altcoins are cheaper to buy, but we should only invest in good altcoins, many of them convert into scams. At this time Bitcoin is only the king & the value of all altcoins depend on it.

I think the means should be both there and there. There are times when bitcoin is growing strongly, then the altcoins fall in comparison with BTC.

Altcoins, in contrast to bitcoins, give the transmission speed and the size of transactions reduce, which is much easier and more attractive. After all, each of us wants quickly and all at once, which means that obviously the choice is towards new, developed technologies.

Because some altcoins has a bigger chance to pump and hit a billion dollar marketcap. That's a big profit rather than holding bitcoin that has a big marketcap and the possibilities is can double or triple only the value after few months if you hold bitcoin.

Yes, I sgree that altcoins have much more prospectives for growth. Bitcoin has already gaind a serious capitalization, and unlike the altcoins, it can not grow several times for a short period of time. So that altcoin is a good choice, but there are not so many coins worth investing.
