Block time is 240 seconds, difficulty is adjusted with every block, and as for the reward,the coin uses the traditional Cryptonote reward scheme - slight decrease with every block, starting at about 38 coins per block.

Seems like a great idea, most people are drawn away from asic friendly pow coins but so far I seen a pretty good return on rewards, id love to see more activity on the discord page is that the most active source of news, development, etc?

X3Coin will have an exclusive feature, that only X3Coin will have.  We will not reveal what the feature is until it's released.  It should be a matter of a few weeks.  The whitepaper is delayed until then, as without the feature it would be one boring whitepaper to read.  Stay tuned and you will not be disappointed.  Meanwhile, a rough roadmap will be released very shortly - hoping for June 26, maybe 27 - and the trades on https://stocks.exchange will then open immediately thereafter.

If you sent a bunch of coins somewhere but the transaction doesn't seem to be confirming at all - you might have sent a large* tx with not enough fee.  Wait until the tx confirms or drops from the mempool.  You can check for it by using the "Reset wallet" option of the wallet (after duly backing up your mnemonic seed, of course).  If the transaction dropped from the mempool, it should no longer appear in the tx list, and the relevant coins be back to your balance.  Try sending a smaller tx and/or with a higher miner fee.

I tried to send 1000 x3c to an stocks.exchange and it's been stuck with 0 confirmations for the last 30 hours.  Everything default except for setting anonymity level to 0.  When browsing in the block explorer it shows over 350 confirmations.  Anyone know what gives?

Is there a better masternode setup guide than these?

I want to setup a cold MN without putting coins on the VPS in case something happens to the VPS and I lose the coins.   Can anyone provide a more detailed guide with pictures for dummies like me to follow easily please?

Or even better a setup tutorial video.

I would guess at it being some kind of ultra low-powered X3 miner seeing as they plan to bring back mining of X3C in future and with the growing number of Masternodes now active building a solid network infrastructure, what other possible motivation could be behind that decision if it were not financially viable to POW mine?

Just a guess, probably wrong but food for thought of the possibilities.

i also found my node at "X3C Network"(where all node listed)

but the coins are send to my masternode wallet, where the 300.000 coins are. or it that normal?
i can split them with coin control, but im worried that something will go wrong if is send. can something go wrong?

I want to change the reward wallet. How does it work?

To change the reward address on Windows:

- Stop your wallet
- Go to %appdata\X3C
- edit (notepad) masternode.conf
- at the end of the line, right after the final 0 or 1, add a space, then the reward wallet address, then a space, then the number 100
- save the file
- start the wallet


The MN rewards should now go to the specified address.

i only found X3C.conf.  no masternode.conf but...

.. then I entered my data in the wallet, at Tab Masternodes ->My masternodes -> Create button.
 In output index (I still do not know what that is) I write a 1.

In the process also masternode.conf was created. great i think.

After restarting the wallet, my node is finally listed under My Masterternodes. its running

but rewards continue to go to the wrong wallet (where are the 300000)


i closed wallet.exe and open masternode.conf

Do you have a whitepaper about X3Coin, I had check on the webiste but I still need more information about the project.

Instructions for sending the MN rewards to a different address:

1. It will only work in a hot/cold setup (MN is configured in masternode.conf on the cold wallet and is remotely started).  If it's a hot wallet setup (coins are in the MN's wallet.dat), it will not work.

2a. Masternode not yet setup: on your cold wallet, create the masternode by entering a reward address and reward percentage in the MN creation window.  If you leave them blank, the rewards will go to the MN collateral address, it is the default behavior.  If you enter a different reward address but leave the reward percentage field empty, it will assume 100% of the rewards to be sent to the specified reward address.

2b. Masternode already setup: close your cold wallet, open the %appdata%\x3c\masternode.conf in notepad.  There should be a line describing your remote hot/cold masternode setup.  At the end of that line (right after the single digit, which is usually 0 or 1), add a space, then add your desired reward address.  If you want only a share of the reward to go to that address, add a SEMICOLON ( : ) to the line, and enter a number between 1 and 99 (not entering a number here will default to 100%).  Save the file.  Run the cold wallet.

3. Start the remote masternode as usual

4. The rewards should now go to the specified reward address


Please note that it's perfectly fine to have the rewards go to the MN collateral address, if you know how to use Coin Control.  If you do not how to use it, do yourself a favor, and learn it (google, youtube etc).
