A friend wants to fully verify his bittrex account with id card details. A year ago you did not have to fill in anything to get 0.2 bitcoin from your account. only the basic account is enough to get amounts up to 2 bitcoins of the account. About 8 months ago that changed and you suddenly have to send full id data. Only he has used the first three letters of his for name and first three letters of his last name with the basic verify. You can not change this on bittrex anymore.

Now I have heard and read that many people experience problems if your name does not match your id card details. That blocked bittrex accounts from traders. Even accounts were blocked where a letter was wrong and that they can not get their money all that time.

He does not understand anything about computers or internet, so I'll figure it out for him.

Are there people who have this problem that their id data does not match that their account is blocked?
Last year I completely verified my account without problems with an id card that had expired for a year. So I know there is a bug with the ID card check.
Then you can probably photoshop your name easily and get approved by the system.
Then would it be easiest to use photo shop to change his id card on the front and back to his used account name


I dare not take the risk to send his original ID card and that his account is blocked because his name does not match his account name. as I have read from others on reddit for example

I like hearing from your experiences. And I like to hear about experiences of people who have tried to edit the front and back ID cards so that the name of your account matches that of your ID card. He comes from the Netherlands, so bittrex can not check his id so much because he does not live in America.

Or is it nonsense that bittrex blocks user accounts whose id card and account name are not exactly the same.

I don't think photoshopping his identification cards to match his name registered on his account is the best move. Probably try contacting Bittrex about this issue? They MIGHT be able to change your friend's name registered on his account.

they make this rrgulation for ppl who sell their verified account. In order to prevent scam and crimination action in trading, they will ban until you unlock with right ID.
I wonder how ur friend do trading without knowledge of IT and computer. Its compulsory to match your ID with your account

Funny story how that comes. :D :D  he was always skeptical that crypto does not make any money because other people say that and he watch and saw that on the news on tv. while I have earned good money for a number of years. . until I borrowed 10 euros from him because I forgot my cigarettes and no bank card with me. I then said that I would do it again tomorrow or that I could also pay him in crypto to try so that he was not skeptical and could prove to him that you can make a lot of money fast . So is the bittrex exchange site accepting new member in current or not?  So far bittrex is one of the trusted exchange site that is why the details and information of a member is a must. And is much better.

I think you have just made a criminal offence, at least that is not lawful in most countries. Are you sure it was worth?

Sending wrong information and falsified documents can have dangerous effects and can result in banning your account and loosing your hard earned cryptos.
I think you should provide legal documents or if you can't just use another exchange that does not require id verification, there are many of them like Dex's.

have you tried withdrawing your btc? your problem might begin when you initiate withdrawal
I'm don't know about their withdrawal procedure,
but if they screen withdrawal transaction and check your uploaded ID, they will probably notice it and block the account :P
