I did that in the past, i scammed 2 btcs, but someone was selling btcs for usd and i bought two of them for 220 usd, but scammed him, techically i stealed 220 usd not 2 btcs.. so in this case the correct would be to return the 220 usd not the btcs right? Bcause i did that in the past, and i thing i did the correct thing, because he wouldt have held the btcs i stealed from him, he wanted to sell them, if i havent bought them, someone else have bought. Don't steal from people and you will avoid these sorts of complications. i've seen a few threads where people have paid back the old USD equivalent, rather than the BTC. but it's interesting that there still is no consensus (but lively discussion) on the issue of repayment even within the cryptocoin community. |
