I just deposited my dogecoin into Yobit and now it's under a maintenance. Will i lose these? It's not much but has anyone ever experienced something like this?

It says it's under maintenance. It doesn't say that the owners ran away to a far-away island to enjoy the coins and tokens they stole from their users.

Then again, does it ever say that?

But in all honesty, even if YoBit doesn't run away with your money -- you should find another exchange. YoBit is filled with shitty scam coins and they are known for having a horrible support team. Go to an exchange that is reputable, such as Binance.

The second sentence on my reply was obviously sarcasm.

My point was just to tell OP that the reason why he/she doesn't have access to his/her coins is because the exchange is under maintenance maintenance, and that he/she will not lose his/her coins because you guessed it,  IT'S UNDER MAINTENANCE.

I often experience the same thing in yobit.
Relax you will not lose your coins, wait until the maintenance has been completed then your coins will you get.

Yobit exchange is not trustworthy. I have found myself on this situation fortnight ago, and It was hectic. You will get it back when they resume. The best thing to do when the coin you are trading is only enlisted on yobit is to use new wallet and transact only the amount you can afford to lose.

I have hear a lot of people experience this issue, i do not know exactly how they (yobit) manage their platform (trustworthy or not)
but what i know from this people whos experience this kind of issue is, that never make transaction with low fee in there. always do with BTC or ETH.

and for the coin who got stuck they get the coin back when they get their ticket answer. but yobit answering ticket take a long time.

Sometimes maintenance is only a maintenance, nothing to worry about yet. However i would contact support in your case, just to make it clear

All of this is true, but I don't think OP is in danger of having his dogecoin stolen.  I've had some withdrawal problems with Yobit in the past, and I think that was due to some "wallet maintenance" issues (I don't even know what that means), but never on a deposit.  They really ought to let you know that before giving you a deposit address.

There have been numerous complaints about Yobit, but I think a lot of those have been resolved and the people who opened the complaint never followed up to write about the outcome.  I don't think Yobit is in the business of stealing people's deposits, and as I said I don't think that's the case with OP.

Considering the history of YoShit I wouldn't be surprised if your account is blocked/frozen/deleted or have the coins stolen.If you search YoShit with keywords like "scam", you will know how fucked their service is. Remove your coins while you still can.

If you do try to read it up then its under maintenance which means it would be fixed soon but it doesnt mean you coins are already lost. They would be credited once it has being fixed but the question is on when? Dont bother to sent out tickets because they wont really answer you for sure. The best thing you can do now is to wait up for that wallet to be updated and recieved coins and later on if i were you pull out your coins into this exchange and find another good one if you dont like to experience hassles once more.

Request a ticket for support, don't wait for them to check it out themselves. In my opinion it is normal since we are in a great dip right now I think that is one of the strategies for investors to stop the continues dip of BTC. It happened also in last few months, exchanges are being maintained at certain circumstances so chill.

Finally, after the end of the maintaince I got my dogecoin in my yobit wallet. Thanks to everyone for helping.

It'd probably best if next time you actually read and understand the warning message indicated on the website instead of panicking immediately. :P

Don't worry. Yobit certainly is not the largest exchange. But they care about their name and will not steal a small amount of coins.

Not experience. Maintenance of wallets is a common thing. Most likely you have all is well and your coins can be withdrawn to other wallets.

Iam not sure that your money will be back. I never use this exchange because has bad reputation and does not have good customer support. Many trader has problem with this exchange so better avoid to use it, there are so many other exchange that has better customer support and more legit.

I dont know if you can contact their support because I always heard a lot of rumors that this Exchange is not good to be used for trading. I don't know if this still under scrutiny.

It's common for an exchange to take a wallet offline for maintenance, normally this happens when a coin forks or does a mandatory upgrade. This is uncommon for doge however as it has not been developed in years.

First let's remove those Yobit scam thing because you are asking a technical question.

Will you lose those coins? No as long as you are sure that credentials are correct and if it's appeared on that coin's explorer. You will get your coins when the wallet goes back online.

Now for the shitty and scam thing, since your coins will not be lost if the wallet goes online, your primarily concern now is, if Yobit will credit and reflect it to your wallet. Refer now to others responders here how worst Yobit is based on their own view.

For those who do have experience with Yoshit site they will definitely say negative things but there are people who arent aware on their reputation thats why they do end up on facing problems. Scam doesnt still happen because those coins are still floating until the wallet would be updated and credited. I doubt if once those tokens are reflected on the wallet. The next problem is if you would able to withdraw those coins again to that shitty site.

Sorry to say this buddy. I think you lost your coin. Because yobit is one of the best scam exchange. Better dont try these kind of exchange. Already i have some bad experience in yobit. Better away from this.

Yeah, you are right I saw much threads here that complaint about yobit exchange site freezing their coins on that site and takes several months before they get back. OP now all you have to do is wait when their wallet back to online there's nothing you could do is just wait or just keep follow up their support team regarding your problem when the maintenance wallet has done and back to online.

I don't think so there are some people here in forum keep wearing signature campaign on that site, and I know they already aware that they still promote a shitty project.

I don't think that you lost your coin. It is normal that the exchange team maintenance their wallet. So you need to wait a few hours or days. the best would try to talk to them (support), I hope they would help you with this problem. I use yobit but not yet faced any problem. but I Found a lot of people have a problem with this site.

Actualy its just only maintenance of there website of yobit and i thinks your deposited dogecoin in secured trading exchanges,otherwise its better that you put your crypto coins in your MEW wallet or any kind of safety wallet like trezor edge or nano ledger,because you dont have much control of your coins if theres something unpleasant happen into the trading exchanges sites  that you put up your crypto coins.

just easy pal your funds is safe no need to worry about that .because dev need to fix the glitch.  Lol that's why it shows  under maintenance. if i were you stay away on it and come back after days or two 'cause for sure all things will be fine. Just relax

Yes, Yobit is under maintenance, and it will resume shortly. But I am sure about your coins, you may lose them or you may see the deposit balance. It depends on Luck. I have faced an issue like this and I lost my coins. Yobit has such bad impression and bad customer support. After then, I always try to avoid Yobit

NO you won't lose your money when exchange is under maintenance. They normally issue announcement prior to the scheduled maintenance and you become aware of what will be happening.

From the Yobit exchange you can expect absolutely everything. Try to bring your DogeCoin out a bit later and preferably do not use this exchange any more.

Yobit is a long and prestigious exchange so investors can be assured of its quality. I am also pretty much traded on Yobit and the wallet is maintained regularly and is usually fixed in 1-2 days.

I don't think he lost his coins, I used yobit a month ago and both deposit and withdrawal was fast.
Yobit has issue with wallets and users money is stuck for months because of it, there are many topics why you shouldn't use yobit and I am fully aware of risk when using it, yet after few years I have never had any issue with yobit.

Yes, that's for good exchanges. I can't say the same for Yobit exchange. I know of many wallets on yobit that have been under maintenance for over a year. And it's not like Yobit actually has a support team that you can make complaints or requests to. They don't. I wonder why people still use that exchange when it mainly list shitcoins, has little to no volume when there are fsr mkre better exchanges with more uptime.

This do always questions me why there are still people do loves to engage with this exchange yet some of these low volume coins are still traded on other top tier exchangers like Dogecoin but still people end up on using those exchange which do have really a bad reputation yet there are lots of issues we have known to yobit. Bad support, no-ending wallet maintenance, pump and dump schemes, delayed deposits and withdrawals.
OP didnt make such update if he do already recieve his dogecoins.

Yobit is a good establishment, despite the fact that it receives thousands of bad opinions. I used the yobit before. it had a lot of the features I loved, but there were also things I did not like. I saw your updates and I'm glad you solved your problem.

Yes, you can lose it. As long you have track record from your transaction, you'll have proof and support team will help you. I don't like Yobit ( sorry ), too many problems since I use it a year a go and mostly have bad result. Try another before you have bad experience like me. 

I don’t know much of the technical thing about this but one thing for sure I know about this all. And that is before getting in particle world you must be satisfied with best choice of the coin and exchange. This will help you to make good results because what if you input everything you have and then you come to know that this wouldn’t be as easy as the exchange was scam or something.

Yes you can still recover it when the maintanace is over unless yobit will close their exchange i think its better to choose anotger exchange than yobit

A lot of people have bad experience with the Yobit,usualy maintenance are for the short period,but if you ar concern call them and ask for an explication .

They will sent Doge to yours balance as soon as they finish maintance. Yobit is big exchange and you do not need to worry about it. Be patient and you will get yours Doge soon.

don't worry, maintenance in an altcoin wallet in exchange has become commonplace. they will immediately send your coins to your wallet, moreover yobit is an exchange that has long been known to many people and has even become one of the big exchanges.

I have also bad experience in Yobit, i has been sent ERC20 token to that exchange but the balance never show in my account, they does not have good customer support, they also listed alot of pump dump coin and that exchange also created their pump dump coin to make money from it, so its better avoid use Yobit, use others exchange that has good service and listed many good coin.
