On the market, today i see the BTC price is under $7K? I do not why, do you have any ideas for this? Do you think the price will increase again or it will continue to go down?  I hope on this month the will go uptrend for a long time and will reach over $10K. Thank you for your opinion.

Plethora of factors including an exchange hack (small) and large wallets moving funds to exchanges.

I have no idea about the market's situation but what I see is all of the altcoin market as well is down.

For someone that believes in bitcoin, yes it will increase again but for someone that wants to see bitcoin people suffer, they will say it will go down.

We do hope that this month of June is going to be the end of bearish market.

Is normal for market fluctuations to occur but oene of the reason for this dip is the exchange hack hopefully we wish tonsee bitcoin rise again in the nect few days

Because this was expected. Bitcoin is characterized by itx extreme volatility, and it is the same today as it was years ago. It fell to $300 from $1200 before, so practically speaking it could fall even to $5000 from $20000 but this is temporary, even if temporary can mean months. Even could mean years. So yes, 10k again is possible, so is $20k, just that it is a matter of time. If you can't wait for that long, then Bitcoin and crypto is not for you.

This is not first time when under 7 k.

It was $6,000 before this month so I don't know why people are keep on asking this thing when bitcoin is hitting below their certain expected prices.

That's impossible that next month bitcoin will not go up. Each month there's something strange with the charts but I highly doubt it.

Honestly I don´t know reason, and even was not expecting that. Hack.. might be.

In my opinion, BTC will fall down approximately 6000$. Then till next month, it will be back 9k soon.

As I see it is the market cycle. Btc have to finish its cycle and then it will begin next market cycle after finish its current cycle. But next market cycle will go high rather than previous one. Calm down and stick with market cycle.

A lot of good speculation with bticoin but I think its better to focus on your target price now, don't be intimidated by the current situation because this market is really unstable and its volatility is getting higher. No specific reason for the current dump but I think people are on panic again. Take it easy and don't rush this market, it will recover soon.

When the coins hit the price, you desire you can sell your coins. Some people tend to panic sell and end up dumping their coins for purchase returning the price of the coins to average. The most important step is to distinguish a coin that is being primed for a dump from one that is being primed for a pump.

Btc is under 7k due to the affection of economic. I believe by the 2020 one btc will hit 20k that's my dream and believe in Bitcoin

There. You said little-known. This should mean that hacks like that should not impose too much of an effect on the entire crypto market. I think it was funny all the news media kept publishing that report. Basically news are like people. One guy thinks it is important, everyone thinks it is important. The hack happened on Friday, and only Sunday people reacted. Such a great example of how news and propaganda effects traders. But like you said,,, this is all the manipulation and people fall for it. I'm more frustrated with the Ethereum which does not look very promising at all. I think that hundreds of thousands of traders are in a same position with me. It was mistake to invest in ETH.

You can mainly thank big money manipulation, i.e, CME, futures markets, etc., for entering into the space Dec 2017 and basically controlling the price.

There are 2 good news:
- We are now close to the bottom and are buying at sweet prices. Imagine that you are in 2014 and buy back the levels of $ 300- $ 400
- If in 2013-2017 the cue ball took several years to recover, now correction is much faster.

Last year in March, I had the opportunity to buy crypto-alaite. Then bitcoin cost $ 800, and the etherium $ 30 .. But I thought, it's probably too late .. for six months the bitcoin cost 8000 $ already, and the etherium 600 $

May be interest of people is going down in crypto and no new money coming in market . one more reason could be to create panic and keep price down so that big investors can accumulate more bitcoin . bcoz i did not see market in bear mode for such a long period . since january it is only falling .

he is right , many people expecting 5k bcoz it is the next support after 6400 which bitcoin already broke , after 5K usd if it dip further then 3k is next support .
But i feel it will bounce back from $5k support and may go to as high as $11k . market does not depend on investors expectation .

I think it might be some market manipulations again, otherwise I don't understand why would people after a month of steady 8-9k USD price decide to sell it off. If that's so, there are two main options: they, who manipulate the market, will go on and the price will drop more and more and then suddenly increase, or, they'll consider 6k as enough and the price will start increasing now. In both ways BTC will increase, because everyone needs it.  ;)

Now is not the time to stare at the bitcoin chart or altcoin and pray for them to rise again. It would be better to do some other useful things, such as reading more about psychology, exploring ICO projects to increase your BTC. Take a few strolls for a relaxed mind.

It's just a speculation but I hope when I'll wake up tomorrow I won't see BTC under 6k  :(

Well there was a common notion that the crashed has something to do with a South Korean exchange being hacked. But my problem with this argument is that the exchanges that was hacked as far as I know what not that well known, so I keep on struggling to understand if this is the real reason. Maybe it's just the catalyst that the market manipulators have all been waiting for, to put a big sell order to send messages again to those newbie investors. And eventually they succeeded because there was a panic pulling the price to another all-time-low this year at $6000. Although the market has started to bounce back, I'm still not sold on it because daily traders will take advantage of this situation again so just used your common sense before re-entering so that you will not be disappointed.

The price hike in 2018 is largely influenced by hacked exchange, many of which assume that investing in cryptocurrency will only make a loss.

indeed bitcoin is undergoing a long correction. but, I agree with your opinion that bitcoin is in the process of making good grades for the future. bitcoin values are now slowly rising and rising. hopefully, the value of being traded by traders and investors can immediately pick up the high value back next month.

We got too much hype about Bitcoin in Q4 2017, it is what sent Bitcoin to the roof. It happened based on the feelings mainly. It doesn't mean it should not happen, it shall but not so fast. People are used to think bitcoin shall be 20,000$ absolutely and it is totally wrong.
Recently the curve seems longer than usual, which could mean it will take a while to see the price up again (just my 2 cents)

Decreasing the price bitcoin is normal everyday it's changing the price even ow that bitcoin is under 7k we don't hear any news about what happen why bitcoin go down the price there's a lot of circumstances why the market is volatile now. But we still hoping that we can recover about this.

The other reason why bitcoin price until now is under 7k dollars is because of the panic seller because they did not believe bitcoin will recover again. And the other investor still waitung for the sign again to increase the price even a little and I think they buy more again and the price will pump again and we will earn more money again 10k dollars possible for this month.

The price of cryptocurrency is depending on supply and demand so obviously the market price will just keep on decreasing if most of the people will be preferring to sell their coins and the volume in the market will be keep on increasing which will lead for the market price to depreciate.

US opens a department to monitor those people who manipulate prices of cryptocurrencies that's why prices of all currrencies down. People who invest huge amount in altcoins and bitcoin sell their coins and finally price of these coins drop.

of course, now is $ 7000 for the umpteenth time, precisely now the price has dropped below $ 6000. we are experiencing a long bearish trend and quite tiring. but, I think ahead of July and August there will be a re-sale price to get more value at the end of the year. a little more patience, this is just an ending yearly correction in the coming months.

Why? Because bitcoin is currently in a bear market, it's as simple as that.

There is constant bearish sentiment across the market. Prices has not really seen any momentum upwards as most of the time it's just in a freefall. The bear market will only come to an end after it finds a bottom and starts its recovery, which I don't think is happening at the moment. There has simply not been enough time for consolidation to consider the bear market over by any means, which is why i think there is a high likelihood that prices are going further down.

Plus, another reason is that $10k resistance was demonstrated to be too strong to breach atm for BTC.

Bitcoin has been in the downtrend for a long time. Although today he jumped over the $ 6k border. I think investors have responded to negative news from exchanges.

Anything can cause the price dump, lately, i guess it's cause a lot of investors are losing hope and dumping their cryptocurrencies because of the price of botcoin going down it inexpected price dump. Or it could even be the wrong misleaded information in the media. Because are one of the top influencer of price of bitcoin as a result of unverified news.

Yes, any negative news will surely put a lot of doubts in the market that's why panic sell happens resulting in the price going down. Right now its just above $6K and yesterday is went below I think. So its going to be a long year for everyone here. There is no FUD, no bad news, no manipulation. The real thing is: no big investeres are going to buy. Because no one believe in bitcoin. What is bitcoin? I'm sory to say that, but we are in the lack of trust. The whales will now use only futures of CBOE or other Wallstreet instruments.  So, we will go right down.

The BTC price is falling and now sitting at 5900k $. The lowest price in 2018 and i think BTC need more time to recover, may be next year is the time of BTC. Not only BTC but also all token in crypto was falled and in the worst condition, please patient, i think it will come back.

My question today was: why btc is still under $7K?
One years ago it was around $2K ! We have seen a big rally and some news are not good for an higher price.
Also $10K is an enormous value for the btc, since it was traded for the 90% of the time under $1K!

This is the main problem of most people, they hope things are going to somehow get better, but they do not really give an explanation of why they believe this to be the case and if you do not see any logical reason why the price could go up in value then the chances are that it wont, this is why I see the market moving in this way for a very long time and we cannot do anything to change that.
