I saw a big dump last night until bitcoin and altcoin had a pretty deep decline. do you think what makes this decline?
is this only temporary?

Just try to read it carefully to get the best conclusion about that. I think that this is just temporary down but it needs another good news to pump the price of crypto again.

Its is because of the FUD news in which coinrail got hacked. It lost the trust to the new investors when the market goes down. But we must not get panicked because it very likely to recover it soon. We must be patient and always be updated to the happenings in the crypto world.

I really don't know what is going on now in the market all altcoin is bearish and I lost lots of profit from my investment. I'm just thinking right now that it is normal and it will back again to a higher volume and price. Just think positive wait for the bull run.

It's big whales taking out their little profits that they leach out of the market plus panic sellers who hear any small news and they panic sell because they do not know how to hold their Bitcoin and Altcoins for the longer term. Main reason for this dump was because of the probe into insider trading and manipulation in the four main exchanges and that was enough to cause another shake out. Some bad news came around that some major exchanges are being scrutinized to find out the suspicion of cryoto market price manipulation. Maybe some people are trying to get out so that they don't meet any action taken by the authorities.
Buh well, I heard this news a long time ago and so i don't know why it just took such a massive effect on the market. Maybe something is coming that we don't know yet.

Woke up today I also scared by this huge drop, but I can't find any the latest news about the bitcoin to fall, so I think it's just a normal fall, people started to panic, I will choose to buy.

I know it won’t be bad asking question and for information purposes, but this can be answered by even in just a commonsensical manner. Is it temporarily? that’s absurd being a member rank and haven’t experience it before. Bitcoin and altcoin does go up and down for many reason in the past, it does recover and it will always be.

What is so surprising about this op? Did you never see a bear market before? Bitcoin dropped all the way to $6k recently and bounced back close to $10k and is dropping again now. This goes to show how extremely volatile this market is. You were aware of the risks before you invested into this market. The current bear market is making people forget the fact that Bitcoin and the entire market has still grown plenty over the last couple of years.

I saw a lot of negative news about cryptos on the Internet today. I'm not sure if they are true, but the market for cryptocurrencies is easily disrupted by news.These fake news is so much that I rarely pay attention to the news.

probably because there is a world cup, so all altcoin is indirectly lowered by the investors, and this will take place in the event boom someday it's a prediction that I think. because many people need altcoin and they will hold it for the short term.

The prices were keep decreasing since the start of this month which maybe a sign of quick bump in the upcoming days but I don't see any negative news about the crypto currencies then why the prices still decreasing is just a like a myth. :'( Whatever happens keep holding your bitcoin because this is not the first time that the prices were dumping so it is another chance to buy bitcoin at cheap price.

What happens with crypto currency? you can observe the whole week growth, but on weekends the rate goes down. And this weekend, the drawdown was very strong

 this is not a decline pal IMO. which i think its either a correction of price or a another test for the bottom price. ( like what happened before during the long bear season.) Because honestly it was a huge dump happened again  which is from $7600 - $678 within hour.  And now we are near on the bottom price which is $6300 so maybe another test for the bottom.

Many times it happens that due to false rumors, people want to get their investment with profit because of the risks being avoided. Payment to a lot of people together is a complex verb. In this way the prices of altcoins  or other coins are falling. Well there may be many other reasons. I  heard of this news today, but I did not get the reason for it. Do not panic, time will change again. If the demand for the altcoins  will be faster then obviously the prices will increase.

Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is supposed to be a response to the governmental interference yet a move from a government agency like that of the above can send the whole market into a dive. One of the things I learned for more than a year being involved with Bitcoin is the fact that it just another trading tool or medium like forex or stocks or even gold...developments in different fronts whether induced by the government or not can  all affect the value and movement of Bitcoin.

Thats true, the reason for this dips were unclear however I think we have to be positive and stay away to the fake rumors circulating (if there is) about crypto. The coins are in red status but its a good chance to buy additional coins to hold, this is just temporary and im optimistic in cryptos thus it would be better for weak investors to forget for a while the price and come back after few weeks or months if you dont want to stress yourself.

To be honest at this point in time no one can clearly determine the reasons why bitcoin market price is going down. But I am quite positive that it will go up again. Until a news comes out, you should remain positive that the price will come back up.

No one can give you an exact answer. The market has formed a downward trend. If you have invested in cryptocurrencies in the long run, then you have nothing to worry about as the market will eventually go up.

I saw two statements today about the drop in market prices. One was that a small exchange in South Korea was hacked. Leading to panic selling! Another news said, because there is no more people and money to connect to the market caused by the market fall! But personally, I think this is just a normal fluctuation of the market, no need to panic, now is a good time to copy the bottom!

The big problem about the cryptocurrency market that it is completely ruled up by speculators , I believe that the reason for the recent declines in price is that the price of bitcoin didn't really go up at all at the last years and investors are now trying to escape.
It's all about demand and supply and seems like that the supply  rate is just being increases during the past few weeks and the demand rate remains the same.

As a long term holder I don't really care about short-term price movements as I think that the techonology that drives bitcoin is here  to stay.

This is normal for this market and pump and dump is not a new thing. This market is under consolidation from a long period and waiting for a trigger to going to moon. This is a good buying opportunity and those who buy at this point get good returns.

I'm confused and have not tried to research and analyze the market in this situation. but but believe the future of bitcoin and crypto will be greater in the next few years.

I looked at price yesterday I think and it was 6700, I woke up this morning and didn't look at price, and then I saw several topics about price, looked at it and i am sad that it crashed again.

The latest hack case of exchange site doesn't give any impact to the crypto's price. In fact that the bitcoin can't even break another barrier to achieve 7k rate and then that means if another dump will come.
But remember this the volume of bitcoin has been increasing a lot. This looks very strange in my opinion. But let's see

Well, some people claims that its a natural sellers> buyers situation, some think that it was a consequence of the Bithumb hack, others think its a market manipulation because of the BTC futures, who knows.

That's not really a good idea, I think. Since, people want to know what is happening to their investments. They have these questions on their mind, if ever the price decreases. "Why is Bitcoin's value decreasing?" or "What is happening to the market?" or "Why is the market all red?" and other questions alike. It isn't a bad thing to question it, and find some answers even though they know that it is a common occurence.

I'm not against the one you suggest to keep yourself from panicking. But, it is essential to know what is really happening to the price of Bitcoin and the other coins.

Many hoped that the reversal was close, but when the market began to fall again, it seemed that there would still be a long wait before the reversal. I think the current situation will last at least another three months and this is still far from the limit.

The collapse came from it's supporters itself, making such panic will bring bad reputations and possible to make more investors to stay away, better to keep holding and make some time frame, the value will rise as time goes and this system will find usable means, I'm still hoping for the best and always positive that this situations will be overcome by more good news after.

Presently we a seeing a little recovery after the initial downtime. Just waiting to see if it will continue to recover or its just a very short term growth.

Due to some bad news another downfall correction was came in market. But actually no one knows, what's the main reason behind this downfall. Because this is a temporary thing of crypto market.
But after panic mood people sell there coins at very low price and after this thing, market become more down.
