Why do most of the people keep on saying that the coins are going to the moon in the next months? Is there a basis of this? Does the last years' cryptocurrency events shape the speculations of the experts when it comes to cryptocurrency?

I agree, i almost heard day by day of the so called to the moon!!! Without any legal basis of their conclusion, but mind you it would happen to the moon haha., anyway, what we think sometimes will happen, its just a positive energy that we need to pass on in order to attract the positivity of things to happen.

Almost of 70% of my social media friends are engage into cryptocurrency, and all of them used that words, to the moon, and i just tried to understand them.

Without basis or not, it is a trending words now, in cryptocurrency market.

it's just a guess of reality is not necessarily like that but sometimes also become a reality, just this year that I experienced the worst because of the very deep decline

Well those people are living in their own fantasies, with the current market and environment, nothing will go to moon...

That's optimism. If everyone says something optimistic then many people will start buying. If demand increases then prices will rise. When will it happen? Next month.

no most people are saying these things because that is their wishes. the fact is they are scared more than anything but they are trying not to show it and they always invite others to continue to hold on to what they are planning to sell to prevent further loss.
the fact is many of these altcoins and tokens that have been pumped last year is going to die and many of them will continue to go down for an extended amount of time until they get out of their bubbles and will stay there for months before having any kind of rise.

Well, that normal if you are holding a particular coin you gotta support it and hype it but some coins do we have a good potential in the market and they are helping to market it, so they will share the profit, when the project exploded and price go to the moon.

you may not believe that alt coin will come back but should not insult the person who is striving to face this situation.

It is difficult to say exactly how long this decline will be, some call the figure at half a year others have already changed their mind and say a year, and maybe more. You can say for sure that the long course of the game will grow, but in the fast it is very difficult to determine exactly where to buy and where to sell.

As a rule, the market always takes a correction in the summer, and by autumn it gives a very good growth!  The volumes are increasing and promising coins are going to the exchanges.  I think this year is no exception!  We are waiting for autumn ..

Why? Because people hope to sell their coin at the highest possible price. But i only see that the prices are falling. Some people made websites about prediction of cryptos prices, but they were all wrong.

People share their personal views or some people make FOMO so that other can buy it and they can sell it at high.

So before you buy any coin do proper research bu yourself

haha shut up and do not get quickly influenced by the unfounded talk. hey bung, it's too early to talk to the moon if the current situation is very difficult to control. only people who are high-minded and want to get rich enough to talk like that, without realizing that the situation is now more monotonous and more descended than going up. the question is, how to go to the moon if things are still like this and difficult to ride.

people based on previous experience. in the past year, we've seen that coins started to increase in value at the end of summer and this expansion continued until the end of December. so people are sure that this year will be the same scenario

If you look at the one year chart of bitcoin closely, Price today, one year ago was lower than what it is today.
The price was low till october and only in the month of october and november to mid december, the price increased by six times.
I'm just trying to explain that the price of cryptocurrency can be really unpredictable.

One of the reason why you should stop listening to people and focus on what you know and what you see. A lot of people in the community usually assume what happened in the past will always repeat itself again in the market. Of course, sometimes it happens, but it should never be a basis for any form of prediction but better to stick with the trend and let things work out the way they want to. The coins may come back before the month ends, they may not, but that does not mean the market at large will be in a downtrend forever.

Only here because people don't know what to say but still need to post for their signature campaign. When you start to talk about something technical there is nobody to reply, only people who really know what it is about, do reply to you.

This said, if you take a look outside the forum you don't notice such statement. It's all based on the feeling, it's like with your favorite sport team when you always say it will win the championship

There's no such things as "experts" when it comes to speculations, and it's going to take a while before we see another event like last year, mainly because the hype around cryptocurrencies has cooled down. About going to the moon...with the current bearish sentiment, I don't think we're going to see big upward movements in the prices in the upcoming months, I think we'll either consolidate around the current prices or we'll keep going down until we find the bottom. IMO it's very unlikely that alts are going to skyrocket anytime soon.

The reason why people saying that cryptocurrencies will go to the moon in the next few weeks or month is because they want more people to buy so they can be able to make a profit and really dont have a basis that can prove that it is true. How can a person say that the price of a coin will take off to the moon if there is no possible way to know if people will buy which we all know that the demand will push the price to go higher. So dont listen to those people because they are not a fortune teller.

The normal logic of after coming from a storm, there will be a good rise so basically everyone are saying this because it's a rise-fall-rise pattern.

Last year's chart are being compared and follow with those speculations but it doesn't mean they are accurate.

I think people want to see their investments and coins moving fast for quick profit so that is why they try to shill their coins to get attention so more people invest and the price moves upwards, unfortunately with the current market situation moon looks far away and impossible to touch, but this is unexpected crypto market anything can happen and we may eventually see moon soon ;)

I remain optimistic with the condition of cryptocurrency. Altcoin will be victorious again. But we must all support it together. And make altcoin a source of technological insight that many benefits

Hopefully it really happens even though I think it's just a slogan that is being talked about a lot. If your question is what is the basis of this, I do not think it's any solid foundation. But because almost all of that, so we are also affected to the moon.
