Title: [2018-06-10] A Small Village in Russia has Successfully Adopted Its own Cryptocu
Post by: Vladdirescu87 on June 11, 2018, 10:28:24 AM
Local farmers and small-scale businessmen from the town of Kolionivo have decided to create their own digital currency called Kolion. The initiative was spawned by mistrust in the country’s paper ruble that has been losing its position on the world’s financial market.

Successfully adopting its own cryptocurrency is an easy step however I am still wondering how farmers (no offense but i suppose most of them are poor) could collect $500,000 in their ICO.
The hardest part is to be add to many exchanges first and to keep using "Kolion" daily.
We will see how things will be after few months.

With such small-scale trials, it will be tested whether the system is functioning or not. As a starting point, it is a very good development and I hope this kind of works is applied elsewhere.

In General, they have long been started and work. So watch nothing good. The only course with the money he was wrong. If Russia produced something like currency once a prison. No one will compete with, and even more so to denigrate.

I doubt that they are planning to list it on exchanges. Altcoins are very easy to manipulate by big group of traders if it is available on exchanges and it will ruin the purpose of the "Kolion" coin that made to be only used by their small community.

Everyone can create their own cryptocurrency. But who will buy it to fill it with real money? I do not believe that this project has a perspective. Moreover, I think that due to the volatility of the inhabitants of this village can become dependent on some speculator. Maybe soon we will witness the revival of serfdom in Russia?

Absolutely, what you said is correct but that's what I read in the article, you can buy that coin in exchanges (if there will be any) or by doing some farmers' work.
KYC check-up before buying the coin? Not feasible tho..

It is indeed a brave step. The only problem they might face is that they have to be self sustainable in terms of daily produces and needs. Cos people outside their village may not accept cryptos. But Kudos to their initiative.
