You can't embed a youtube video in your post, but you can put a link or an image imitating the thumbnail that leads to your video.

Yeah correct, you cannot embed a youtube video in it. What I figured out recently that is very useful that I would like to share is that you can use the hyperlink function on the reply page, which will create the "{url}" and "{/url}" boxes. You can make a certain word clickable by using this, which personally I think is very useful and appealing to the eyes of readers.

It's really a cool thing. How you can do this is that after the opening box, u can include the "=" sign and include your URL link after the equal sign. For example, "{url=http://www.xyz.com}" (insert the word that you want it to be clickable), and then close it with the "{/url}". You can also bold, or italicise the word to make it nicer, up to your own preference.

You can try this method out to create a link to your youtube video. Hope it helps!

Note: replace all the curvy brackets "{}" with "[]". The curvy brackets are just used for visual explanations

Bitcointalk don't support video but you can share the link to your post and also you can include images in your post. When you reply to a post there is s button for that. Try to explore on what would the icon do when you press it.

Have you heard about the "code" tag?

[.code]your bbcode here[./code]
(remove the dot)

Example:
Code:
