Where is the money flowing?

nothing flowing at my house :P

gas (at $4 a gallon)
burgers (at $8.50 at the local greasy spoon)
rent (still went up 10%, because house prices haven't dropped as far as potential home buyer's ability and willingness to buy has)

that, unfortunately, is where nearly all my money is going.

All my cash in jewelry - diamond earrings, bangles, gold chains, fancy rings and gold chains. I look like Mr T
in his A-Team heyday.

Come the global currency colapse, I can just stroll into Sainsbury's and plop a chain on till in exchange
for buns, catfood and luxury dessert items.

In my bank, where it can be safe (or so I think)

I wish people would really put their money in Bitcoins like in the poll..

Mostly drink while watching bitcoin value falling.

I am putting whatever I have left for my old age in US bonds, they may be downgraded but they are still the best of the worse.  I do have some bitcoin rigs though

I put mine into a liquid bond fund (basically like the Vangaurd Stable Value fund). The nice thing is that if inflation kicks in, then the rate will rise to match it. I could try to put it into the market, but the difference if it goes well is actually not that high and if it goes poorly, it could really screw me. I also fear a general stock market crash or at least leveling once the baby boomers start to draw on their retirement in 3 years.

Primarily in the fiat currency of a country which has not yet resorted to inflating its way out of debt.

About a grand a month into Bitcoin, a few grand a month into stocks. Plus still mining. Keeping my investments split.

My money is bitcoin, largely. I have purchased many thousands from individuals with precious metal, preferring to stay away from the exchanges for the time being, as I don't trust their business acumen. I have said it before, and I'll say it again - I respect MtG:Ox for their ability to run a large and profitable business, despite being bogged down at every turn by quibbling bank operations and government slavedriving, but their lack of transparency and insistence upon anonymity give me no confidence of their integrity. I prefer to look someone in the eye and shake their hand when I do business. I want to know a man has character before I trade with him - that is how business does and ought to work.

Apart from those few purchases, I have also undertaken a mining operation, which I pay for with what remaining government play money I still have around. The fortune that is able to produce is quite prodigious, and as long as the electricity providers insist upon being paid by government decree, rather than with real wealth like gold or bitcoin, it's essentially free, so far as I am concerned. The balance of my fortune is tidied away in a vault under my home, mostly as gold and silver, and small quantities of other precious metals like osmium, iridium, and rhodium. (Mark my words - osmium will rise to great prominence after the coming collapse of the fiat treason! It is an excellent store of value, and I trade silver for it upon every available opportunity.)

No. Gold looks like the bubble Bitcoin was in June. Long term return for gold, adjusted for inflation, is only 3%, which both makes gold suck as an investment, and makes the current run-up in price very questionable and risky.
