Good, I missed the first doge train, now the second is coming (but not sure if it will start :D).

The announcement that the block reward will not end and so the 100 billion cap was not correct appears to be what is causing this.

I know everyone is panic selling now, but what do you think this will do to DOGE prices in the long run?

I knew doge was full of greed.

imho the doge community is great, it will not die with this crash. If with long term you mean years, it's quite a risky investment. I don't see a long term future for doge.

The announcement could have been a bit more clearer. People now think there's going to be trillions of Dogecoins in the next 2 years being an inflationary currency.

I agree with @rotaercz there should be a clearer announcement for this so people don't get confused. In fact, our 'inflation rate' will be less than Bitcoin till 2017 and less than Litecoin till 2020.

It's still at almost a 50M $ marketcap and you're complaining?
The trading volume today is very low, almost everything is kind of silent and going into -%.

And? Does this really come as a surprise to anyone? The coin tripled in value of course it couldn't sustain itself at that price for long.

DOGE hasn't crashed. Such is the vicissitude of cryptocurrencies.

And it will fall back when the difficulty doubles.

The developers didn't change anything today,  just confirmed that nothing would change, so it is odd if this was a catalyst for a sell off. Personally I think inflation is important,  but then I'm an economist so what do I know.

It may surprise some of you just how fast dogecoin is growing.  Bitcoin addresses are being added faster than ever, but usually dogecoin is ahead, both as a percentage and in raw numbers. Dogecoin added over 6000 addresses in the last 24 hours bitcoin about 3000.  I won't mention any other coins as it is little embarrassing for them or pitiful.

DOGE  will increase over the next year. As block rewards are cut - less coins so with the community size and growth of interest there is only one way.... that way is UP.

I will be hoarding again if it goes under 100.  I hated on it early on and didn't mine it early enough, since then the community has gone beyond anything released in the last year - 2years. Forget doge crashing out, won't happen now. Had to buy in after a while, glad i did now, suggest others do the same if it gets under 100 again. Don't wait until rewards halve again ...

I think look to 500+ steady in the coming months with steady rises after that. I say you could see 1 cent sooner than people think.

Let's wait and see.

dogecoin will crash , crap coin with no hard limit and a clone of Litecoin .

Seems to me a lot of people are just hoping that DOGE will crash, so if DOGE goes down 10 percent in 24 hours, which happenes to bitcoin all the time, their hopes are fueled and they go like yeah DOGE crash.

Seems to be a lot of DOGE envy whahahahaha.

I dont own any DOGE dont even have the wallet installed but DOGE sure made me a lot of BTC by mining at a profit switching  pool and earnings have been pretty good recently mostly because of DOGE, so I say go DOGE.
