Hello guy's, my forum rank changed  from Jr. Member to Member.
I have some smerit currently. Because I didn't spend any smerit till now. I was think to help some Jr. member's to rank up who have already 9 merit and help forum to keep role spam free forum. Because I know how hard to become member. This post only help to Jr. member. Because above Jr. member, at least have a good rank.
It's very difficult for me to find who have 9 merit and he is qualify to rank up. That's why I post this thread.

If you Jr member and you already earned 9 merit then you can apply for one merit.
Just reply here with one of best topic link that you think you deserve merit. No need any request or formality.
Remember, if your other post is spam or shitpost then you will be disqualify. Your post should be useful for forum or other members. I will must check your all post on your profile. I have enough time to check your profile. I will read your every post before send you merit. It's very hard to earn merit. I will not spend it wrong place.
Don't pm me for begging or buy merit. If you offer to pay I will report to DT and moderators to tag you. I am not merit saler or merit trader

Must read before apply:

1) If you are rule breaker then don't apply here.
2) If you are red taged  from DT, don't apply here.
3) If you want to rank up only for sign camp. you will be disqualify. Easily I can understand that by visiting your profile.
4) Your post will delete if you don't have 9 merit or if I think you are disqualify.
5) Begging are not allowed.

8 ) If your previous merit got on low quality post or bounty post, you will be disqualify. I will consider that merit abuse.
9) Don't apply if your rank is above Jr member. Because I don't have much smerit.

You've been doing a good job trying to help improve the forum for all... I believe initiatives like this will encourage others to "lift their game". I also appreciate the way you have set down a very exhaustive list of rules and have set the bar quite high to qualify.

Hopefully we see some positive results from this and some deserving users get that elusive merit  they need to make it up to 10 ;)

Here have a merit point, its a nice initiative.  To be honest i still have no idea why we have merit points, im not sure itll solve the problems they need to solve here.  anyways.

Work hard, make quality post and help to keep spam free forum. You will be qualified. Always try to help other then some one will help you.

I do have a question, how long will this go on? The merit stuff, cause it's really not fair to the young blood/newbies. Although it has its very own advantages too...like encouraging newbies to take all these serious. But kinda miss it, when there wasn't merit act...

Go to the Meta section of the forum. And there you will find a lot of analysis regarding the merit system. I forgot what the title of the thread or who is the maker of the thread but that thread specifically shows us how the merit system decreased the number of new members registering in the forum as well as existing members not being active anymore which means that some of the members not receiving merits have quite already. So technically merit system is slowly doing what its intended to do, let us just give it more time.

True, those are good points.  Less spam is always good, I guess you are right.  I also blame signature/bounty campaigns that demand a high number of posts per week, so people are going to shitpost.  Like twitter, that is now a cesspool of ICO marketing.

Some speeches by me....

We, the jr.members and newbies who are running hard for merits are making so many shitposts to get some merit. But I think by making shitposts which are not helpful and unnecessary for the others will not get any merits. Merits are given by your talent. You need to achieve this by making some quality posts which is helpful for the others. Remeber this, merits are given as reward. So Guys, Don't run for merits by making unnecessary posts, try to make some good (unique) and quality posts. You will automatically get merits by the seniors as your reward. Best of Luck✌✌✌

Sorry to hear that, it was such a nice initiative... maybe just be patient.
In the Spanish board, there was also a similar attempt with the same result. Sometimes it is difficult to try to help others, I can`t guess why maybe the people is ashamed of showing the post they make, maybe there are not people with the characteristics you mentioned.
Maybe you can open the thread to all those about to rank-up, including members, full members, etcétera. Why not? It should open the thread to more people and maybe you can get what you want: to help others!!

First of all, don't quote long posts, especially if your question isn't directly related to the post. You've just asked a general short question about merit and to see it everyone has to scroll through OP again. Edit it and delete the quoted part. Learn forum etiquette or you can forget about earning merit.

Well that's actually great idea and I have a similar view but less opportunity. ;) However, I've already got 2 sMerits and decided to follow your post and will try to help to someone who really deserves it. Hope that others will also join and support your initiative, because forum members and especially Junior ones need to help each other.

Can you expand your gift widely to all Newbie ? Because not only Jr.Member need to rank up, but Newbie also. You can help all newbie and Jr.Member to get Merit to encoourage themselve for contributing more quality post. I guess if Jr.Member need 1 merit to become Member, that mean they already got 9 Merit and they know how to get Merit. It isn't hard for them to get more, they just need time. Don't be hopeless, you are a member rank currently. Post useful topic, report spam find scammer then you will get more merit.
Also I am going to help some people who help forum to keep clean and spam free. Example report spam post to moderator. Find out the scammer on forum etc.

I did not meet the requirements of the Topic creator, but I think the topic creator did a good job.
It not only makes merits work, but also helps those who need the merit.

It would appear that you have totally missed the entire point of this thread. It isn't some merit charity... he is looking for people who only need one more merit to rank up to member, but whose posts he is not likely to see... it gives these people a chance to have their post reviewed and possibly earn a merit.

Yeah I'm also want to know the reason, because Coolcryptovator is doing a fine job rewarding one sMerit per member, for members actually deserved( I assured that he/she is not spending any sMerits without looking at members contribution to the forum, not for making himself laugh.;))

I have given You merit but your activity is very low. Once you will reach 60 activity them you will be member. From now i am not going to send merit less then 60 activity. You are lucky.

Is it right to give merit in this manner. I think this defeat the initial concept behind a merit. A merit is to be given when due but not in a form of letting users have a preconceived idea before offering it.

"Coolcryptovator" doing a nice job by find out the meritable posts which actually didn't noticed for other members. He didn't spend his sMerits for every member who submit their posts but only the deserved ones.

Btw I think you have misunderstood the initial concept behind merit system.

It's depend on your activity.  If your activity less than 30 your rank will be newbie. If your activity more than 30 your rank will be Jr. Member. In this case if you delete your post  then your activity will reduce to so you will become newbie again. Once your activity will increase again by posting then you will be Jr. Member. I think you do same thing.
