Title: 2 PSU Miner Setup
Post by: PondSea on February 03, 2014, 03:26:40 AM
Hi Guys,

Do you have a guide that you can point me 2?

I will be setting up a 6 card Rig but i dont know how to connect up the second PSU to the 3 cards.

I currently will have the following:

PSU 1 : Mobo/HD/3 GPUs + Risers
PSU 2 : 3 GPUs (i dont know if i connect the risers to the 1st or second GPU)

Any help would be appreciated.

Connect the green wires and any 2 black wires from the 24 pin ATX connectors together. Risers to first PSU. Figure 35w per riser.

That is to trick the PSU thinking it is connected to a MB right?

Basically that will allow the 2nd PSU to receive the on and off signal that the motherboard sends when the power button is pressed.
