Title: Diablominer on Mac OSX 10.7 Question
Post by: lowd on September 18, 2011, 09:40:30 PM
Hi everybody,

I'm new to mining and I chose to use Diablominer on my Mac (OSX 10.7). I also signed up to a mining pool Slush mining.bitcoin.sz

I used the guide from this forum to set it up:

Make an account on mining.bitcoin.sz
Set up workers

Run Diablominer:
Server: mining.bitcoin.sz
Port: 8332
Worker: accountname.workername
Workerpassword:

Diablominer starts mining and is finding a lot of blocks but it is starting with block 1: See screenshot

When I log into mining.bitcoin.sz I can see that there is something going on, so there is a connection between Diablominer and the Pool and it's registering it into the right account (See bottom worker, the rest needs to be set up)

Can somebody please help me out?? Many thanks in advance !

When it says Block 1 found, Block 2 found, Block 3 found, etc, it means the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shares since you started the miner.

At slush's pool, when you submit valid shares, your score goes up.

So, it appears to be working fine.  If you have other questions, please ask them explicitly as it is not clear what you are asking.
