Bitcoin and altcoin are on a downward trend as the moment, there is  No FUD or negative news at the moment yet everything is going down. What could be the cause of this?

All the coins are moving behind bitcoin in the main and now there is a downward trend in the market that throws out all the excess  ;)

The market is mostly affected by the price change of bitcoin. Bitcoin price change are generally lesser but the change has sharper influence on the price of alts. Altcoins falls as well rises in larger degree than bitcoin.

I think it is going to test $6000 again though there is no bad news now. I may say whales dumping the coin but I don't know really why all coins dumping.

There was one negative news some few days ago about a korean exchange been hacked, the news gave ripple effects on the crypto market. However the market is trying to correct itself, so soon every thing is going to be normal again.

some peoples are said south Korea is created a big issue in current scenario but this negative news are slowly recovering in future.
Most of the experts are said this fluctuation is common issue in current trend and all the investors are still hope to trust this platform.

a lot of confusing news there is no definite clarity with the decline in current bitcoin prices, all altcoin can be boosted when the price of bitcoin increases and vice versa

Traders is the cause of the market status we all demand what price we gonna buy and sell. Scared traders sell their altcoins and bitcoin in a low price.

It is best time for my investment portfolio))) bad news is very influential on crypto, but it is not a problem, hold your alts hard and dont panic.

Im thinking about someone is dumping the coins like crazy.  ::)

We know very well there are more than sufficient whales in this market and they are free to leave the crypto or sell of their money at anytime they want.

Unfortunately this year and month could have been the agenda of these people and they are trying to get most out of the crypto after they are seeing that market isn't moving upwards more than this.

and The Coinrail was hacked in June 10th 2018, led to the theft of more than $40 million in cryptocurrency. Although not one of the more prominent exchange platforms, the Coinrail hack is yet another reminder of the tenuous nature of the emerging digital currency landscape.

I believe all of this caused by the manipulators were selling a big stash and then they could buy for another cheap price. A lot of people are beliving if this can become the real reason behind all of this dump.
It doesn't make sense to see some people are saying that coinrail hacked case was giving an impact to the whole of market.

I think all these news posted on news portal are to create a panic wave into investors to sell their coins at cheap price.  This big Wales always try to panic people and make millions of dollars in this situation.

there are selling the massive coin and all sellers listing coins with drowning price or just a strategy from traders for back buying a coin with lower then it a coin will pump again. dump and pump part from a strategy

I joined crytocurrency and alts coin as well in a long time. It's very normal so far. Depend on the news, money source then panic sale will down the market. But you look yourself as holder and take it easy, think about it simple. Buy and sale right time. That my suggestion!

It's just shows that supply is higher than demand. Many people are selling their token maybe in preparation for the upcoming Eid Holiday. :) Their many muslim brothers involve in cryptocurrency and the coming week will be the spending time of our friends. This is like Christmas to them. I'm sure that solid projects will again rise soon. We just have to be positive on it. :)

I read somewhere that the traders are trying for 5900 USD.

If the sellers unite and do not sell, they have no chance to be lowered. I can say right now its either more supply compared to demand, or it is the buyers market.

The first is the attack by hackers, causing market turmoil. Some traders sell their tokens. Many other traders are afraid of the market crash and follow these traders to start selling tokens!

There were some fuds spreading around for the past few days which causes Bitcoin price to dip again and altcoins got affected too. Nevertheless, this period will be over and let’s hope for the best when World Cup start.

There are no definite reasons for this yet except for the Korean news which could have been the possible source except that the decrease in the market of cryptocurrency has been eminent for quite sometime now. This means there are some other hands at play than the news.

crypto market is very sensitive and anything can make it fall. it will be a waste of time if we focus too much on this issue, it's better to think how we can fold assets in situations like this.

because it's already been probed that Bitfinex and other 3 exchanges used manipulation to increase the price of BTC to 20.000$ last year. Those who got to know that info begun to sell quickly. Probably, even those exchanges sold their coins to others.

I think the trend is dropping, because June-July last year coin prices also drop, I slightly less understand the cause of the rise and fall of coin prices, maybe at a time like this is right to buy as much coin as possible and we hold the next few months, I'm sure definitely get a good profit.

There was news in US that some agency required data about suspicious transacions on exchanges. So people with less than clean records sold out, followed by weak hands.

Today's decline does not seem to have any reason. I have browsed the website and have not found any negative news. In the past, many negative news has always been accompanied by a drop in the market, but today there is no negative news and the market is still falling.  ???

South Korean exchange hack coinrail happened last days but the price continues to decline today plus the volume is not that dominant to make the prices crash like this, there is not definite bad news right now what the others suspect is the investigation ongoing from the market manipulation from the four major exchanges probably some manipulators who got scared from this regulation so they are drawing their funds from the exchanges result? FUD's and some panic selling.

looks more like the effects of yesterday's news, and continues with news information from Coinrail about some alt that also got hacked. Fud like this usually will also last longer and can slip further down if there is no good news for BTC

I think bitcoin and altcoins dumping due to coinrail hack, there is no more important news now. There have been always dumps when exchanges were hacked.

It's hard for me to explain what caused it, but I take the liberty to give an opinion about the causes of Bitcoin and altcoin experiencing a downward trend. One in my opinion is because the market today is more rigid on other big events, such as the football world cup that will last a few more days. When I think like this, there must be question, what is the connection of soccer world cup with Bitcoin?
I think there is a connection.
Hopefully my assumption is not wrong associated with declining prices of Bitcoin and altcoin.

I think that the price of bitcoin and altcoins is too high. and now there is a price adjustment.

Not a long time ago avery movement to the bottom was connected with some sort of bad news that were really minor.
Now manipulators have zero imagination which event they should promote as a FUD ;D So this is just manipulation remaining. Clear.

yes this is like price manipulation, maybe this is one way from big players to make a profit by spreading a news that will significantly affect the bitcoin price.

I think those time when prices drop, the real reason is not the FUD or the negative news but rather the reaction of market participants to those news and now that there is no identifiable news to support FUD hypothesis, the only thing constant in the two circumstances is the reaction of people I.e we that are the active participants, what are we doing in salvaging the current situation? Are we going to keep complaining and look for answers where there is none or in our own individual way do things to change the situation.

There are some countries which showed a negative statement against crypto. Maybe it's a definite problem and still haven't been able to switch from it so as to make the hike a bit difficult. but for the long term course will be different due to the fact that many countries are starting to harnessing technology in crypto.

the cause must have a very big effect on the decrease of bitcoin, but maybe this will not happen in a long time so I think it is not too worrying for the decrease in the price of crypto.

I do not think prices will fall back to $ 6000 at this time. The lowest price of bitcoin this year is 6200 dollars. Maybe this is the deliberate adjustment prices of the whales

I read that it was late reaction for one of bad news. But I was not so great new to fall down crypto so much. So I don't know why it is happen really.

Changing price of bitcoin affect for all altoins, so if the price of bitcoin increase other altcoin price will increase.currently market in corrections and all coins are price going down everyday, I think price of altcoins will go up to this year end, then price can change by next year, big investors will involved it,The price manipulation of bitcoin effect in all coins, more fud spreading around and it will change in price also.
