Title: Bitcoin spring and when one day turn?
Post by: Timere on June 14, 2018, 06:47:34 PM
Is it true that bitcoin behaves like a spring? Now they squeeze him harder to get him to go up even more? When will this day come? When bitcoin and the whole market will turn its trend upwards?

nice comparison and it certainly looks that way sometimes.
I believe it is because whenever there is a dump (the pressure you put on a spring) many of the investors sell to get out and stay out until the shenanigans of the manipulators are over. then when the time comes for the rise (removing the pressure/force from the spring) they come back or mostly jump back in and the rise becomes big. and like always they are followed by the weak hands  this time FOMO buying instead of PANIC selling. so the rise becomes even bigger.

The bitcoin market price volatility is so fast. Fluctuations are almost found in an hour as i have been always checking on it in the coinmarketcap.com. I never know why this happen but this is not in my expectation or speculations. There are many day traders now which do not know how to hold crypto and this is not good to small scale investors. How i wish i could have a huge amount to invest on it so i could also play on day trading.

I think we moved Bitcoin to Iceland, where it is Winter for most of the year.  ::)  Nah, seriously Bitcoin is not a seasonal thing, it is based on Supply and Demand. There are not a big demand for bitcoins at the moment and that reflects in the price. We need to work harder to get Bitcoin in every store to grow the demand.

We cannot just buy bitcoins and then sit around and wait for the price to go up.  ::)

I believe the OP meant spring as "helical metal coil", which you can press down hard only to rise up again even faster. It's a good analogy, no doubt about that.
