The market is currently in a deep downtrend, in my opinion, btc may be down to 5k5 then turn up strong! What do you think?

Isn't it that bitcoin has recovered to $6500 already? Why is people still trying to predict that it will go down further. I understand that we are in a bear situation for half a year, but does it mean that people are giving up and thinking that bitcoin will goes go below way way below?

I see thread popping saying that bitcoin will go as low as $1K-$2K which really surprises me. Don't they fully trusted that bitcoin is so resilient from all this FUD that it can bounce back again? I'm sure that we are a bit on a struggle but I'm very optimistic that we can hurdle all this barriers.

It is because TA has somewhat pointing that $5,500-$5,800 will be the bottom. As we all know the previous bottom we have is around $6500, so we have reached that already. But it seems that this market is fluctuating and everyone is expecting that daily traders will take profits as soon as the price goes on a +$500 so I'm also thinking that we can go below $6000, but I hope that I'm very wrong.


I hope though that you are not affected by this kind of FUD because we all know that its part of the system. Everyone has its own opinion and even predicting the death of bitcoin. So I advise you to just observe and see how the market recovered and prove them all wrong.

Im not an enthusiast of giving a prediction with the current market behaviour in bitcoin sijnce I don't have a plan to sell for long period. That's your opinion so be it.

Instead, Im asking others, why they really care and concern for price decrease to the point that they keep asking others what's their view about it? Are they planning to buy more and just waiting for more dips? Are they wants to minimize the losses? Or wants to do a short term trades?

Generally, trust our own process and just do what we think is good providing it's really worth to give a shot.

I'm not a big fan of holding for years, sure history shows that holding for years seems to be a good idea but there is going to be an end to that, maybe bitcoin has hit it's ATH forever, holding for years in that case wouldn't really be a good idea. Also holding for so long it's only really possible if you have a good amount of money.

Im waiting it to drop hard to reenter with a large position and never look again at any chart.

I definitely agree, hodling only really makes sense from an ICO price or shortly after and even then projects from here on out will start disappearing.  We are definitely in a massive MASSIVE ICO bubble with the amount of projects coming into this space and most cannot survive.  My spin is also everyday you're holding is a day you aren't making money, which is the same as losing.  This market really only has about 2-3 years of easy money left before it becomes a lot slower and less volatile... it seems crazy to me to spend that entire time just hodling one project,

I don't intend to really participate until we decide that we are closing on a daily candle above 6800 or if we're gonna fall flat and retest 5k (or even 4.5k)  Right now I'm sort of neutral bullish, meaning I think the end of the bleeding is really close, its just a matter of how bad capitulation makes the last little bit bleed. The manipulation behind the infamous bart candles leads me to believe that someone knows something behind the scenes, which I think will be the catalyst to get all of this to stop... which is the Bitcoin ETF for large players will be approved with Ethereum now following shortly after.  I definitely am not comfortable shorting or longing this market on leverage, and am instead focusing on other things waiting for Bitcoin (or its manipulators) to find its way... Hopefully soon, perma-long to 50k.

The summer market is very boring and nothing happens. I think that we should not expect growth now. The main events await us in the autumn and winter. If growth is possible then it will be at the most unexpected for all time.

Yeah, that's my point, unless you have a ton of money and you can throw around thousands of dollars and hold without having to worry, holding isn't really an option for everyone. Yeah, the ''bart pattern'' is really getting too obvious at this point and it happens every single day almost. It's definitely a no trade zone for me too, I would rather wait for confirmation and get in late even if it means losing a better entry than getting in right now and get rekt by some random crash.

TA predicts the bottom by comparing the current chart to 2013, but it fails to take into account that this is a completely different market. We have more institutions, more total investors, more coins on the market, more exchanges, more laws... We're not in Kansas anymore ;)

This market downtrend is already recover in slowly and it will never move to below 6k USD because still many of them trusted in the Bitcoin so this move to raise again. I think bull run is start soon and no one is predicted when it will going to peak. May be this year it will reach some decent marketcap because some regulation comes in many countries so peoples are buying continuously this will move forward.

I also don't see the market dropping more than it has done already. It has gone higher than $6500 and so price is beginning to look up. The market is retracing back.

Truly, members’ in this market are completely free to give prediction, so why they don’t have a positive thinking for their prediction. As we know that bitcoin and many more other crytocurrencies are well-known for its highly volatile. It’s quite normal when the market’s in downward trend. Definitely, there’s no dip forever, the market would recover. Instead of getting panic , We’d better to take advantage of the drop to buy coins so that we can reap a huge fruits. I think with many countries trying to take steps against Bitcoins it's making people scared and they are now trying to get out of the market  and offcourse the false news is always on the go .. these kind of news are making everything worse.

Since this was posted a few days ago, during that days everyone is quesioning if the $6,000 support level will hold. I do not understand people why they doubt it. The $6,000 support area have been tested multiple times. That is the strongest support level we have.

It will, why? because of this kind of posts, don't help the panic sellers sell. Also if you're going to tell the future price of a coin please add your analysis why.

No body can predict the market in accurate, but by look in to price of BTC that going down already 1/3 from highest price in januari and some altcoin also hard dumped up to 1/10 , and this mean the price of crypto on overbought already. This situation make all price of crypto is cheap and will be more buyer come in to market because they will thinking will be more easy to gain multiple profit because the price in the bottom already.

Now it is downtrend but maybe it still continue downtrend 1-2 more month. just my opinion but now is also near the bitcoin bottom price. you can buy and hold long-term

Not quite tho because just earlier bitcoin fell on $6300 and I think it will continue to be on its sideways and in fact we can see more from it and seeing the graph we have high resistance on $6k. We're now on the 4th month of downtrend though many are still optimistic that this will come to end and we can see more profit before we close the year.

hopefully the price would be back up and and slowly rising back to 10k mark corrections every 1k will be pretty nice so there will be no huge crash. yes there are alot of optimistic because bitcoin is the future.

I feel that market may remain down to subdued for atleast couple of months. But I see recovery coming sooner or later in the market.

The current downward movements seeing to be coming to an end and $5000 seem to be the bottom or were bitcoin fall to in March.  Many speculators are also saying the bottom should be around $5,000 and from there bitcoin may push towards $12,000 and a little corrections to $10,000 or $9750 before resume it December last year trending.
I just checked the bitcoin current price at 1fox and it is around $6,178. From this area bitcoin can reverse up and to me anything from next month we may began to see steady grow.

Today, for the fourth time since February, the price of bitcoin has almost touched 6000 dollars. The glasses and buckets here are huge and I think that's the key point. Altcoins will fall due to the drop in price of bitcoin. If the price per bitcoin is pegged to USD then you can compare the two. In general if there is a drop in bitocin price dont buy or sell altcoins. You should buy more bitcoin if you want to stock up. But at the price its risky to buy since price drop occurred by 700$ and its not a small amount looking at the market capitalization of bitcoin.

How cheap is the question. Some whale can start pumping the coin and prices will reach higher values within a day.

I really would not be surprised and as long as we end up breaking the $6k downward, I expect to see a fast movement to that point and the possibility of testing $5500 or even going as low as $4k+ region. Nothing is certain yet though and in a matter of days we will get to know. The market as it is now is so hard to predict until we see some change in trend in some matter of days which will possibly try to go test the $7200 region from a bounce that would occur from the current movement downward.

Where are you getting your own from because I believe it is not the same chart we are looking at $5900k has not been tested so many times and we only got very close to it recently when we had a quick bounce around $6130 which still shows the momentum to go upward the more is not there yet and may give us the chance to go test it. It is an expected support but if it does not hold, we have another support at $5500. So, I guess we will just have to wait and see.

These down trend market nor uncertainty about the reversal points are not a concern for a long term holders like me hence discussing about these markets are just a waste of time in some sense. Yeah, it is really looking bad until it stops looking bad. The market is still showing the possibility of a further move to the downside and with that happening, I expect us to go see a double bottom at $6k or go lower towards $5900.

Only time will tell though, but I would not be too relax to start catching the bottom when indeed the market is pretty volatile at this stage. Hopefully we get to see a bounce soon though or not, but however it is, the trend will give us the clue on what to do exactly.

A Year ago 2017 June BTC price was $ 2.600  now is around $ 6k . While it had parabolic increase to $20 k it was accepted  as normal and some of us  expected
the moon. One Year later when BTC corrected we can see panic, depression  and disappointment  despite it is 250% up vs Last Year.

Looks like we are currently in worst melodrama and there is no way to find right path of where the crypto currencies are really headed. I don't think about it all! Why to think about negative downtrends, they will pass, the ones who have patience to wait for uptrend, not matter when will it come, will have the reward. Too much thinking can wake up paranoid thoughts, I live that to day traders and to ones who earn from little fluctuations, I found my strategy longtime ago and now I know when I need to buy and when to sell and to have profit on that, my answer is midterm trading, and for some trades longterm, get into investment cause of the technology behind the project not just cause of the price and you will see the difference, support idea and of idea is good you will have rewards.

Unpopular opinion but I have my doubts about bitcoin.  Etherium on the other hand seems to have more versatility with things like https://contentbox.one and other dApps so I’m more bullish on that.

How can you be so sure? Bitcoin would not have fallen below 10000 USD if not for the bans and hacks. If enough of them were to happen now, the price would repeat 2015 and drop below the point when the pumping had begun (5000 USD). I think the possibility to go back to 5,000 is difficult for now because a few hours ago bitcoin started up and now is the moment bitcoin will go up and it will try to resitence 6700 hopefully no bad news that will make the price back down

lot of people may ever have to panic if the price drops drastically and this is the best time for some of the big investors to have take a lot of bitcoin and when the times comes the chances of its price may hike a lot of people also may ever have to regret why they let panic take their emotion.

We have been hoping for this for six months, however, the price of bitcoin is constantly jumping up and down and I think that in the near future we will see bitcoin for 5900-6000 dollars again...

I think it wont that happen that bitcoin will goes down  to that price anymore there is a good support in around 6000$ so i think the good price to buy is 6000$

We broke $7000 and the resistance level. It looks like the consolidation phase is now over.

Price went to its lowest stage few days ago and touched 5.8k dollar price which benefited a lot of people as they bought a lot of Bitcoins which was a decisions more than anything. Now they are in profit and can sell any time as the market price is 6.4k dollar which will give them profit. They can think productively if they wait for some time to let the price go higher in order to make maximum profit.

Well, in the short term, I agree with you that the momentum presently is tending towards some short rise, but I would not really count much on it until we get to break out from the downtrend.
However, I still believe there would be some further downward movement before then and with that, we may see some volume setting in and giving us some breathing space from the downtrend at least for the mean time. I guess by this week which also signifies the end of June; we will get to see how things will end up.

Yeah prices for altcoin are satisfactory. Actually best thing about altcoin is they are usually so cheap that everyone can easily afford them. But somehow they are of not that much big profit at the end. Things are quite complicated here but this really varies from person to person in different fields of world and different mindset. Current market has a little improvement but it is not the price we are looking for as the value is shifting between the value 7k dollar and 5.8k dollar since long. Now people are tired of it but you know what it is not the solution to enter your emotions here. it would be better if we keep our emotions on own place and should wait for the price to go high which is only possible if we buy more and hold for the price to increase.

Same here. I do not think Bitcoin will fall anymore because we are rather on the rise in the market and this all started with the arrival of July. We might go on with the same slow rise in the values of Bitcoin and as they have been predicting about the boom in December.

It is on a weird spot. Now we all now that bitcoin has two gears. Either it goes way up and surprises us, or it goes down really quickly as well. Now we are not in a place where it can go from 20k to 6k, there is not a room for that much drop. So thats good, it can go down to 4-5k at worst, which is still fine, however it can go over 20k which it once did, not easy task sure but it can still achieve it and who would be surprised? So the upside is better than the downside.

In the medium term, that is a move that may not quickly come before July ends, but who knows, it is the market anyway. So far, we are simply seeing more buying momentum than selling momentum which explains the rising enthusiasm we just got out from downwards within a very short period of time. For now, nothing is guaranteed yet as we are still in the beginning of rising market, but at least for short term, I may be expecting around $15k before seeing any serious move in either direction. In this market also, we all must need some plans to make ourselves prepared against surprises and frustrations. For that, this kind of discussions are helping a lot for me always.

They have to sit calm with patience which will lead them to their destination and it is common in long term investment that you will have to wait for a long time in order to get your huge and maximum profit at once.

The market is based on supply and demand so you cant always expect for the price to increase every time but you can always use the volatility of the market in order to earn more profit.

Yeah, seems to be weird when if there any people waiting to see Bitcoin fall more dip to 5k. Even if the trend still on bearish, with Bitcoin volatile we can make profit by doing daily trading short plan for sure.

The price has recovered since then but still we are not that far away, so my recommendation to people holding coins like bitcoin is to keep holding their coins, it is a difficult proposition especially since I think it will take years for the market to recover but unless you like to lose money then that is something that you will have to do if you want to get your money back.

today, the price is down after it reaches $7488 for the highest price and now the price is at $6910. and if I see on the market, right now the trends are on the way to go down and I hope that the down is not too deep. Its not possible that bitcoins will be stacked at $8k dollars because there are more people right now who can actually invest on cryptocurrency because of legalization on their country.

That can be big deal to those people that wants to invest to bitcoin because of legislation about cryptocurrency on their country. While it can possible be that bitcoin is still trying to hit its bottom or if not it did actually hit it at $6,800 - $6,900.

In these days we are observing different prices of different crypto coins in which the best long term coins that are the Bitcoin and Ethereum are declining due to our selling mistake in low market. On the other hand less valuable coins which are best for short term are improving as we noticed that Litecoin is following increase trend of price so better we spread our investments there as well.

Many predict as you say that bitcoin will drop at 5K, but now at 6K, maybe 2019 will start at 5k, but I don't expect that to happen, don't happen.
I continued to survive even though the price dropped to 5k, because I was sure I would go up again.

Maybe this will happen, with the decline in bitcoin prices to $ 5.5k this will trigger an increase in the number of buyers in such a large volume.
