Title: other exchange places, other than poloniex
Post by: kerajaangosip on June 15, 2018, 08:54:15 PM
hey I started yesterday tranding from poloniex and all my capital is gone there because I always lose. the price movement is very fast and I can not always monitor the market (I have a job).

is there any exchange suggestion that the price movement is not too high like poloniex?

Don't blame Poloniex about that. It's your fault. This is the first time I saw some request that preferred to used a low volume compare to big exchanges.

What coins are you trading? I will answer you directly on what exchanges you will trade with "low volume".

Goodluck anyways with the profit you will get at those exchanges. I want you to understand the difference so I will let you understand it by yourself so I will not explained some pointers as of now.

Oh no! You're making a big mistake of wanting to do day trade when you do not have the tools you need. Knife like everyone who does not have time does: Buy bitcoin and keep it in a trustworthy wallet and good reputation for many years. this is the only way you can not lose your money and not have stress every day because the price has dropped. Now on exchange, well and you better use coinbase or even binance and not use poloniex, yobit, cryptopia and hitbtc because these exchange does not have a good quality service, these exchange can create great headaches, so do not use poloniex, Hitbtc and yobit and cryptopia

It was not the problem of poloniex, its you problem. but like I said, just use binance or coinbase

Hahaha hey dude I suggest to you before entering to any kind of exchange site make sure you have knowledge in day trading because its so risky to enter in trading industry its your fault to losing your capital in poloniex, you can try to trade in some high volume trading site like binance, bitrex, kucoin etc.

Binance,Bittrex, mercatox these three might be best suited for beginners. Another thing if you see the site was good for you don't forget to ask us if it's legit that has no bugs and major issues just to be safe. There are tons of software to monitor each of your altcoin with ease and could monitor with the uptime of 10-50mins.

Please do some research before trading any coin/token. If you are going to purchase then monitor price for at least one week and wait for the lower price. If you already bought then set a certain profit that you want to get from that investment and place order for selling at that price and forget about it for some days...

As a newbie foucs on acquisition of knowledge first. I don't think poloniex is bad, it has the required volume to make the market liquid so you can buy and sell. The price of  a coin is similar in all exchange, why change exchange.

All same crypto pair has the same price action in all exchange ,  and i think you not need move to others exchange. Now you have to increasing  knowledge and skill about trading strategy and management of money and risk.

The biggest exchanges will have the most liquidity which>the smallest spreads on the books>least price movement. Find the big boys, you got your smallest price movement action.

Poloniex is not wrong but your trading strategy is wrong. Actually you can do trading activity although you spend only 2  hours aday, because to reduce the risk from wrong prediction you can use stop limit order and trailling stop function. Poloniex still good exchange for trading but they does not add new coin more, so to trade other potential coin, you should trade in others exchange like Binance, Okex, Bibox etc.

Price movement depend supply and demand, no one can control it even Poloniex it self. I believe every exchange have transactions tools to create automatic stop loss and take profit, why you not set it at beginning?. If you can't monitor your activity you should change your method, from short/ medium term period become long term period, it will help you a lot. Never forget to set your stop loss & take profit before leave the market.

In fact, it's not a fault of the exchange. Perhaps, you've just chosen the wrong trading strategy. Day trading requires spending a lot of time monitoring, analyzing and dealing with crypto. And because of the lack of necessary knowledge and experience you lost your capital. Try to switch from trading to holding. For that, you only need to obtain coins and also have a wallet to store them. If it's still not an option for you, try trading at exchanges with less coins and smaller market like cex https://cex.io/ for instance. But always keep in mind that cryptocurrency is something that fluctuates very fast and it's almost impossible to hedge against losses when trading it.

I do not think it depends on the exchange you use, but the type of coin you choose. because if you choose the type of coin with a trade volume that is not too high then the price changes will also not happen so quickly.

If poloniex has fast movement then the other exchanges will have the same movement as well. So it is not because poloniex when you lost your investment. It is because of yourself. You didn't ready with the fast fluctuation that crypto currency have.

I have been using binance since day one and I wish I was involved more on their token sale as well. Binance has been doing everything perfectly, they have been attacked like no other and even with all that attacks and all that hack attempts they are still there and still going very strong.

I mean most of the exchanges after having this type of trouble usually closes shop and it causes the economy and crypto world to cripple in a bad manner for a long time yet it did not happen in binance. In recent times, after bittrex and its verification menace, I am sticking with binance and I am praying to God not for any such verification problems with it before I do find another such good exchange to switch over.

Your loss is not about the exchange ,but the lack of knowledge in terms of trading. Don't enter in a door that you don't know what's you're going to do inside. I would like to suggest kucoin and binance  exchange, but then, try to gather more knowledge first so you won't loose huge money.

There are more than a hundred different cryptocurrency exchanges to choose from, but the price still moves about the same relative to the same coin. It's just that if the exchange is large, it responds faster to price changes because it trades more people. Select a stock exchange trade is simpler and safer but on a small stock exchange. client.

If you can't focus on trading much better you keep away on this kind of earning in cryptocurrencies, because trading needs more time to study which coin you must prefer of. You can't blame Poloniex exchange for your huge loss it is your responsibility to have a good exchange to trade. I personally advise which is the good exchange is Binance.

You are a trader just a day and make such conclusions already! All exchangers are approximately the same and price's drop or fall doesn't depend from the exchanger wish, but from the market. You should take more time for learning about trading and the market to stay in profit.

Binance is the biggest, they are making a lot of profit and who ever you use them will not make a mistake.
Lately I talk about kucoin exchange, it's new exchange and they have a lot of promotions, all started with world cup, they had some promotions, giveaways, and they look good. Why to not try something different, they are fighting for new users and that's is sometimes better then some big exchange, they are big and they don't care about new users as small ones.
There are many other exchanges, one of my favorite is bitfinex, they are here for long and for them I have only a good words.

There are many exchanges out there. You can check here for a number of them according to their traded volumes within 24 hours: https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/

However, there are analyses and tactics to master, and then emotions to subdue before you can say you have had some degree of fair knowledge of trading. Go on YouTube/Google to search for trading tactics from notable individuals. Trading without mastering the ropes would always make anyone part with some fortunes. It is not because you traded on poloniex but rather because you are yet to know what to do right.
Plus, trading involves patience.

Actualy there's so many exchanges to choose better than  poloniex exchanges site's and low processing fee,but its needs thats you must experiment first if you like it or not, just like the way of there transaction if its a user friendly and applicable to understand, but in my own i must rather suggest bitfinex, huobi pro, yobit exchanges and many more, thats mostly i thinks easy to trade and low processing fee  and the market movement is great and the transaction is much applicable.

Did you even analyse the market before starting trading? I hardly believe you did that because the price movements you are talking about happens in all the exchanges in the crypto market. It is totally your fault that you have lost your capital because you didn't practice to trade and didn't analysed the market before investing. You should not have sold your coins if it were in a loss. You could always wait for the market to recover.

Seems like you don't have any experience about trading and think it is easy to do, it's your fault that you lose your money, not the exchange fault because the price movement is the same on all exchange, maybe a bit different sometimes for arbitrage opportunity, if you want other exchange then you can trade at binance as the volume is way bigger there but if you don't learn TA then you'll most likely lose your money again.

binance is a good alternative for poloneix, it has lower fee and higher volume. You need to find a better trading strategy inorder to gain profit but if you are going to try something binance is good for you.i ve learned trading at mtgox it was very bad decision but left early and gone to bitstamp and bitfinex but now binance offers low fee and higher volume it is best place for starters, altough there are some exchanges that has lower fees than binance i offer binance again for security and trustability.

of what exchange to use, you should check if the exchange
platform have a decent daily trading volume of the coins that

We can't blame in a certain exchanges of our loss due to own mistakes. We are one who do trading and not the exchanges. It is very often for us today to have some losses due to unhealthy market and its volatility rate, that's why we should be needing enough knowledge for the success of our investment and not just letting others to take care of it.

Poloniex become better exchange now by add more coins in their platform.  They also add more coins paired with stable coins USDT.  poloniex is one of the biggest exchange and this exchange still good with high trading volume.  There are alot of others exchange that has higher trading volume than Poloniex like Binance,  so you can try to trade there.  To avoid loss you should use stop loss and never forget it.

It is not about the exchange rather it is because of your chosen Coin. Maybe your chosen Coins wasn't good enough that's why price dumps highly. But As poloneix is a well-reputed exchange then you shouldn't be worry by seeing the dumped price. Wait a few days more, maybe your invested coin's price will be recover.

You have to learn more about price action and the trend of crypto market, because trader who make profit is they always know the trend. By understanding the trend we will have better prediction when should be enter and exit from the market. If you dont have full times for trade just doing long term trading buy and hold a few month. That will be more easy to make profit with less times , just make sure we bought on the bottomed.

It actually a lot of exchanges came out today but I'm afraid not all of them could address the needs of their clients. All of them are differed from their transaction fees in which trades are one thing to consider. Most probably investors will look for low fees exchanges for more profit but the problem is that, they struggled delays by then.

The prices depends on the market conditions so the exchanges also have prices too much volatile but now everything will be okay, you can start trading with this stable sideway market and can get some profits from it.

hey I started yesterday tranding from poloniex and all my capital is gone there because I always lose. the price movement is very fast and I can not always monitor the market (I have a job).

is there any exchange suggestion that the price movement is not too high like poloniex?
I think it's not the fault of the exchange because if you trade you will give a time to trade to that coin. And I think your aware that the market is volatile so anytime it can be change.

People are focusing on which exchange to select too much, binance and bitmex is already up there as the best exchanges who do not scam their customers in any way or shape so there is no point of looking for any other.

If you are looking to trade in some smaller exchange because it has one of your favorite coins and big ones don't than just trade there a small number and withdraw the coins to a wallet to be safely secured, otherwise anytime you are not trading anywhere not binance or bitmex you are really putting yourself in danger.

Even coinbase who makes millions of dollars from trading fee's constantly has trouble with its customers and KYC deal and making peoples money locked in their accounts, the way these companies make money goes beyond the trading fee considering they have tens of hundreds of millions of dollars in their account almost all the time and rarely people withdraw from there which gives them option to reinvest their money into stuff that would make money for them while not spending a dime of their own money. Binance and bitmex is not like that, go with them.

I think there are lots of exchanges besides Poloniex, I suggest you can exchange, bittrex, idex, binance, hitbtc. for me all these exchanges also believe and are safe you can leave now.
if I myself, besides Poloniex, I will do an exchange in binary, because binance is very good and fast for us to make exchanges and many like it too

Are you really serious to look up for low volume exchange? High volume exchanges with high price fluctuation are always nice place to have good profit, if there is low volume then price fluctuation will also be low. I think instead of looking for a low volume exchange you first need to improve your trading skills, trades cannot be taken on perceptions, you need to have some solid base/reason to take a trade. I suggest you to explore forum to sharpen your trading skills first.
